Malone Roof Box Review - 2014 Volkswagen Passat- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2014 Volkswagen Passat, we're going to be test fitting the Malone Rooftop Cargo Box, and that's going to be part number MPG902.If we take a look at some of the features visible from standing right here, we're going to see that it has a very nice aerodynamic shape to it. So while it's installed in your traveling, it's going to cut down on wind noise and drag while it's up there, and your gas mileage shouldn't be affected too much.If we take a look from the front of the vehicle, we're going to see that it's a very narrow cargo box, and so while we have it pushed to the right side of our vehicle, we're going to see on the other side we could fit another accessory even on our smaller sedan. If you wanted to put a bike rack up there, you could choose to do that. You just want to be sure you double check the weight that you might have in your cargo box or on the other accessory and make sure that the roof rack and the vehicle roof can handle that weight.When we come to the back of the vehicle, we're going to see that even with our cargo box installed, we have no problem trying to access the trunk of our vehicle. You can see there's plenty of space, so you're going to have no problem right there. We're going to see we have four different points of contact where our cargo box is secured to the roof rack. more

Inno Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Volkswagen Passat- Video
Today on our 2015 Volkswagen Passat, we're test fitting the Inno Shadow Series Cargo Box in a gloss black finish, it has 13 cubic feet of space and it also has memory mount clamps. The part number for that is INBRA1250BK. Now, we're going to show you how we put these memory clamps on. First, we'll take a look at the clamps themselves. With this gray lever you tighten and loosen down the clamps there, and then they tighten down around your cross bars with that clamp there. They're a memory clamp so you don't have to measure out and keep screwing or unscrewing each time you put them on. We also have an anchor down spot for your straps that we have in the box. more

Inno Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Volkswagen Passat INBRA1170CA- Video
Today on my 2015 Volkswagen Passat we are test fitting the Inno Shadow Series Cargo Box with a carbon fiber finish. It's going to be 11 cubic feet of space on the inside and have memory mount clamps. The part number for that is INBRA1170CA. We do already have our front feet on so we're just going to show you the back feet. First I want to talk to you a little bit about the memory clamps. We've got some tie-down points here on each of our clamps. That's going to be great if you want to strap down any of your cargo in the top. more

Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2014 Volkswagen Passat- Video
Today on our 2014 Volkswagen Passat, well be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL Roof Top Cargo Box with 22 cubic feet space in metallic silver, part number TH636S. With the Thule rapid traverse roof rack system installed on the roof of our car, well begin our test fit by placing the cargo box up onto the vehicles load bars. After positioning the clamps to fit over the bars, we can unlock the box, open the lid and expose the two closest knobs. Well then turn the knob that will tighten on the clamps around the load bars. Well then move to the other side of the vehicle and repeat the same process. Now this double-sided opening lid will also enable you to easily load and unload your cargo from either side of the car. Once everything is all tightened down and secured, that will complete todays test fit of the Thule Sonic XXL, part number TH636S, on our 2014 Volkswagen Passat. more

Today on our 2014 Volkswagen Passat, we'll be test fitting the Thule Sonic Medium Rooftop Cargo Box with 13 cubic feet of space in glossy black, part number TH634B. With a Thule Rapid Diverse roof rack system installed onto our roof, we'll begin our test fit by placing the cargo box up on to the vehicle's load bars. After positioning the clamps to fit over the bars, we can unlock the box, open the lid, and expose the 2 closest knobs. We'll then turn the knobs to tighten on the clamps around the bars. Now this box does feature the AcuTight mounting hardware, which will notify you when the clamp has been fully tightened when the knob starts to click. We'll then move to the other side of the vehicle and repeat the same process. Now, this double-sided opening lid will also enable you to easily load and unload your cargo from either side of the car. more

Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2014 Volkswagen Passat- Video
Today on our 2014 Volkswagen Passat, we'll be test fitting the Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box with 16 cubic feet in matte black, part number TH615. With a Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System installed onto our roof, we'll begin our test fit by placing the cargo box up onto the vehicle's load bars. Now, since this box only opens from one side, you'll need to position it on the passenger's side of your roof. With the box in place, we can unlock it and open the lid, exposing the four slots in the bottom of the box. We can take the clamps, slide them down through the slots over top of each bar, and then turn the knobs to tighten down the clamps. Once everything is all tightened down and secured, that'll complete today's test fit of the Thule Pulse Large, part number TH615, on our 2014 Volkswagen Passat. more

Thule Pulse Alpine Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2013 Volkswagen Passat- Video
Today on our 2013 Volkswagen Passat, we'll be test fitting the Thule Pulse Alpine rooftop cargo box with 11 cubic feet of space, matte black in color, part number TH613. Now with the roof rack system already assembled and onto our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the cargo box onto the vehicle's cross bars. We'll position the clamps over the cross bars, and turn the key to open the lid of the cargo box. Now that the four knobs are exposed, we can tighten them down, which will grip the cross bars, securing the Thule Pulse Alpine to the vehicle. Now this cargo box does open from one side, so we will be positioning the cargo box on the passenger side of the vehicle. This will allow us to easily load and unload our cargo. more

Today on our 2013 Volkswagen Passat, well be test fitting the Thule Pulse Medium Rooftop Cargo Box 14 Cubic Feet of Space Matte Black in Color, part number TH614. Now with the roof rack system already assembled onto our vehicle, well start off our test fit by placing the cargo box onto the vehicles crossbars. Now this rooftop cargo box does open from only one side, so well position the box favoring the passenger side of the vehicle. Well then turn the key to open up the lid of the cargo box to expose the four knobs, which control the clamps of the cargo box. Well position the clamps over the crossbars and tighten them down. Once theyre all tightened down the cargo box has been secured to the vehicles crossbars. more

Yakima RocketBox Pro 14 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2012 Volkswagen Passat- Video
Today, we're working with the 2012 volkswagen Passat, and we'll be test fitting the Yakima Rocketbox Pro 14, part number y07192.We'll take our boxes, set it up ontop of the crossbars. We'll open the box from one side and then we'll make sure we fit the clamps below around our crossbars.Once we have the clamps fitted around our crossbar in the boxed position where we want it, we'll use the knobs inside to tighten it down. We can move over to the other side of the box as both sides will open to tighten down the clamps on the other side.With all four attachment points secured, our box is set up on our roof rack and ready to load up.That's it for our test fit of the Yakima Rocketbox Pro 14 roof top cargo box, part number y07192, on our 2012 Volkswagen Passat. more
