Today on our 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we're going to be doing a test fit on our Malone rooftop cargo box. That's part number MPG902. It offers 16 cubic feet of storage space. And the first thing you might notice about this box in comparison to other rooftop cargo boxes is just how narrow it is. Now that's gonna give us plenty of space to store other equipment on the other side of our roof. It's about 76 inches long, 27 inches wide and 18 inches tall. more

Thule Roof Box Review - 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee- Video
Collin: Hey everyone, Collin here at etrailer. Today we got a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. We're going to do a test fit of the Thule Force XT Sport Rooftop Cargo Box. This is a cargo box that will mount to the roof rack of your Grand Cherokee and it's going to allow you to get any excess cargo or luggage, anything like that, up into an enclosed area on top of your roof and create more space on the inside of your vehicle for your passengers. Now what's really cool about this box is that it's got a very durable ABS plastic construction to it.It's going to be impact-resistant and UV-resistant, so it will protect all the items you have in there. The top has a diamond-textured finish to it and you can kind of feel when I scratch it, you can hear that. more

That's part number TH629508.This is going to be a low profile cargo box, so it's going to be great for our skis, snowboards and other small cargo. It features a storage capacity of 16 cubic feet. It also features a locking mechanism to keep our cargo safe while we're out and about. To open the box, we're going to simply insert our key, turn to the unlock position, pull in on our hatch and lift up on the lid.Our box is going to feature four power clip clamps. These are called power clip clamps because as you turn them to tighten them, they do create an audible clicking noise when they're sufficiently tightened. more

What's special about these clamps is that when you turn them to tighten, and when they are sufficiently tightened, they make an audible clicking sound so you can be confident that they are sufficiently tightened.We're gonna put them in their track, make sure that they are centered on our bar, and then begin to spin them to tighten them down. more

Inno Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee- Video
Today on this 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee we're going to be test fitting the Inno Wedge 660 cargo box. Part number: INBRN660BK. As you can see it fits nicely on our roof here. It has a nice aero-dynamic shape which is going to cut down the wind noise and drag that you experience while your driving. It also is adjustable to go further up or further down the roof rack as you please. If you wanted this to be closer to the front you can adjust your factory roof racks on this particular vehicle if you wanted to do that. Let's show you how it works. It's good to set it up on its side just like so, so you can open up the feet and make sure they're ready to receive your crossbars. Then, you will set it right in front of your crossbars like so and slide it back into place. Now in the instance that it's going to be like this, we're going to need to open it up and get on the inside so we can loosen up the feet. more

As you can see you do have the spots where you can open it up on both sides of the rack or of the box. Here and here. Then you also have the quick fit feet that are going to slide through these rubber grommets on the bottom side to attach to our factory crossbars that we have on our vehicle. Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee- Video
Today on our 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee, well be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box, measuring 22 cubic feet in metallic silver, part number TH636S. With a factory roof rack on our vehicle, well begin our test fit by placing the Thule Sonic directly onto our load bars. With the feet hanging out of the bottom of the box, we can adjust them as necessary to fit around our bars. Once we have it set, we can open the passenger side of the box and tighten the 2 knobs on this side, to tighten our feet around our crossbars. One of the great features of the Thule Sonic is its ability to let you know when the feet are secure around the bars. The hand knob will make a clicking noise to let you know that its fully secure.Another great feature of the box is its ability to open from either side of the vehicle. Well move to the driver side, open the box, and tighten down the 2 remaining feet, using the hand knobs until we hear that clicking noise. more

Today on our 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we'll be test fitting the Thule Sonic Medium Rooftop Cargo Box measuring 13 cubic feet in glossy black, part number TH634B. With the factory roof rack system on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing our box directly onto our load bars. With the feet hanging out of the bottom of the box, we can adjust them as necessary to fit around each bar. We'll open the passenger side of the box and tighten the two hand knobs on this side to secure our feet around our bars. One of the great features of the Thule Sonic is its ability to let you know when each foot is secure. You'll hear a clicking noise when the foot is tight enough. Another great feature is its ability to open from either side of the vehicle. We'll move to the driver's side, open the box, and tighten down the two remaining feet using the hand knobs until we hear that clicking noise. With all four feet tight, our box is secured and we're ready to go. Here at the rear, we have full access to our rear hatch door without it making contact with the back of our box. Today on our 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee well be test fitting part number th624. This is the Thule Force Large Rooftop Cargo Box. Now, to fit it to our vehicle, well simply place the box on top of our crossbars. Now, youll notice that our clamps are completely undone so well make sure the clamps go around our crossbars. Well then start here on the drivers side where well open the cargo box and tighten down the two gray handles on either of the left side clamps. Well then do the other side and close the lid. more

Today on our 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee well be test fitting part number th634b, the Thule Sonic Medium Rooftop Cargo Box. To begin our test fit well go ahead and it on top of our crossbars here on top of our Jeep Grand Cherokee. Well then adjust our box making sure that the clamps fit around both the front crossbar as well as the rear crossbar, and that our box is centered with the vehicle. Well also go ahead and open are cargo door to make sure that when we secure the box its out of the way of the cargo door itself. We can then work our way around to each of the four clamps tightening down the knobs until they click indicating they are secured and at the proper torque. Now, a great feature of the Sonic is that its ability to open the lid from either the passenger side or the drivers side. more

Today on our 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee, well be test fitting part number TH615. This is the Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box. Its a very quick and easy fit to your Grand Cherokee. Well place it on top of our crossbars, where well take the clamps, pass them through the carrier, and make sure they go around our crossbars. We can then tighten down the gray knob within the carrier, closing down the clamps, securing our cargo box to the Grand Cherokee. After doing that with all four clamps, our cargo box is secured and were ready to load it up and head on down the road. more

Today on our 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee well be test fitting part number th625. This is the Thule Force XL Rooftop Cargo Box. To fit it to our Grand Cherokee, well place it on top of the crossbars making sure that our clamps fit around the crossbars. Now that weve made sure that our cargo box is on top of the roof, and that our clamps are around the crossbars, well center it with the vehicle where we can open it from the passenger side first and tighten down the two gray knobs within the cargo box securing the passenger side of our cargo box to the Grand Cherokee. Well move over to the drivers side where we can use the key to unlock the drivers side of our carrier and open the lid from the drivers side. Well now go ahead and tighten the two gray knobs here on the drivers side which will secure our cargo box to the vehicle. more

SportRack Aero Roof Cargo Box Installation - 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee- Video
Today on this 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee were going to do a test fit of part #: a90275 from sport rack. This is the aero XL cargo box. Now our Jeep has already been equipped with a Thule roof rack system using the aero blade bars. All we got to do for our test fit is take our cargo box and place it on top of the roof rack. When we put our cargo box on top of the roof rack we can center it up in the middle of the vehicle or we can pull it to one side or the other in case you wanted to add another accessory such as a bicycle rack. In this case were going to keep it in the center. more

Yakima RocketBox Pro 11 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee- Video
Today on our 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee, well be test fitting the Yakima RocketBox Pro 11 Rooftop Cargo Box, part number Y07193. Our vehicle is already equipped with the Yakima cue tower roof rack system, and our RocketBox is already pre-assembled. So were ready to go ahead and fit it to the vehicle. Well need to simply set the RocketBox on top of the crossbars with the clamps just in front of each crossbar. Well then make sure that the clamps are in their open position, and then we can just slide the cargo box back so that the crossbars fall into the clamp openings. With the crossbars resting in the clamp openings, well simply open the lid and tighten down the red wing nuts located inside the cargo box. more
