Today, on our 2014 Jeep Compass, we'll be test fitting the Yakima RocketBox Pro 14 Rooftop Cargo Box, allowing us with 14 cubic feet of capacity in black, part number Y07192. With the Yakima round bar roof rack system on our vehicle, well begin our test fit by placing our box directly onto our crossbars. We will go and adjust the clamps as needed to fit around the bars. Well then move the key to the unlock position and pushing on the red button to open this side of our box. Well use the T handles on the inside of the box to tighten our feet around our bars. One of the great advantages of the RocketBox is its ability to open from either side of the vehicle. more

Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2014 Jeep Compass- Video
Today on our 2014 Jeep Compass we'll be test fitting a Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box with 22 cubic feet of space in metallic silver, part number TH636S. We have a Thule Rapid Podium Roof Rack System assembled onto the roof of our Compass and we'll begin our test fit by placing the box up onto the vehicle's load bars. Once all the clamps are positioned over the bars I'm going to move to the back of the car and push the box as far forward as possible just to see if we can gain clearance of the rear hatch. We can then unlock the box and open the lid exposing the two closest knobs. We'll then turn the knobs, which will tighten down the clamps, tightly around the load bars. This box does feature the AcuTight mounting hardware which will notify us when the clamp has been tightened down fully when the knob starts to click. We'll then move to the other side of the vehicle and repeat the same process. more

With a Thule Rapid Podium Roof Rack System assembled onto the roof of our Jeep, we'll begin our test fit by placing the cargo box up onto the vehicle's load bars. After positioning the clamps to fit over the bars, we can unlock the box and open the lid, exposing the two closest knobs. We'll then turn the knobs to tighten down the clamps around the bars. This box does feature the AcuTight mounting hardware which will notify us when the clamp has been fully tightened when the knob starts to click. We'll then move to the other side of the vehicle and repeat the same process. Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2014 Jeep Compass- Video
Today on our 2014 Jeep Compass, we'll be test fitting the Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box with 16 cubic feet of space in Matte Black, part number TH615. With the Thule Rapid Podium Roof Rack System assembled onto our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the cargo box directly onto our vehicle's load bars. Now since this box only opens from one side, we'll need to position it on the passenger's side of our roof. With the box in place, I'm going to move to the back of the Jeep and push the box as far forward as possible, just to make sure we can gain access to the rear hatch. The box in place, I'm going to unlock it and open the lid, exposing the four slots in the bottom of the box. I'll take the clamps, slide them down though the slots over the top of each bar, and then I'll turn the knobs to tighten down the clamps. Once everything is all tightened down and secured, I'm going to move to the back of the Jeep and open up the rear hatch. You can see that there is no interference at the back of the cargo box. That'll complete today's test fit of the Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box, part number TH615, on our 2014 Jeep Compass. . more

Today on our 2014 Jeep Compass well be test fitting the Thule Pulse Medium Rooftop Cargo Box, with 14 cubic feet of space in matte black, part number TH614. With the Thule Rapid Podium Roof Rack System assembled onto the roof of our Jeep, well begin our test fit by placing the cargo box directly onto our vehicles load bars. This box does only open from one side, so youll need to position it on the passenger side of your roof. Once the box is in place, Im going to move to the back of the box and push it as far forward as possible, just to make sure we can get rear hatch clearance. With the box in position, Im going to unlock it and open the lid, exposing the four slots in the bottom of the box. Im going to take the clamps, slide them down through the slots over top of each bar, and then turn the knobs to tighten down the clamps. Once everything is all tightened down and secured, Im going to move to the back of the Jeep and open up the rear hatch. You can see we have no interference. That will complete todays test fit of the Thule Pulse Medium, part number TH614, on our 2014 Jeep Compass. more

Today on our 2014 Jeep Compass well be test fitting the Thule Force XXL Rooftop Cargo Box with 21 cubic feet of space, AeroSkin black in color, part number TH626. With the Thule Rapid Podium Roof Rack System assembled onto the roof of our Jeep, well begin our test fit by placing the cargo box up onto the vehicles load bars. After positioning the clamps to fit over the bars, we can unlock the box and open the lid, exposing the two closes knobs. Well then turn the knobs to tighten down the clamps around the bars. This double-sided opening lid also enables you to easily load and unload your cargo from either side of the jeep. Well then move to the other side of the vehicle and repeat the same process. Once everything is all secured well go ahead and move to the back of the car and open up the rear hatch. You can see because of the large size of this box, the rear hatch has come in contact with the back of the box. With this done, I'll unlock the box and open the lid, exposing the two closest knobs. I'll turn those knobs to tighten down the clamps around the bars. Now this double-sided-opening lid also enables you to easily load and unload your cargo from either side of the roof. After moving to the other side of the vehicle, I'll repeat the same process. Once everything is all tightened down I'm going to move to the back of the Jeep and open up the rear hatch, and you can see the rear hatch does not come in contact with the back of the box.
