Hi, everyone. It's Evangeline here at Etrailer and today, we'll be taking a look at how the Inno Shadow 16 rooftop cargo box fits on a 2019 Honda Odyssey. So, if you're looking for a little bit of extra space for your Honda Odyssey, a rooftop cargo box is a great way to achieve that. There are some downsides though, like here, we have the factory roof rack, so we can't really get it onto any overhang. Ideally, you just center it onto your roof, which does make it a little tricky to get into. Now, the perks though is you can still open up your hatch and get full access into the back with this box on your roof. more

Today on our 2012 Honda Odyssey, we will be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box with 22 cubic feet of storage, in metallic silver. It is part number TH636S. With our factory roof rack on our vehicle, we will begin our test fit by placing the cargo carrier onto our load bars. With our feet hanging out of the bottom of our cargo box, we will adjust them as necessary to make sure they fit around our load bars. We will open the passenger side of the box and use the hand knobs to secure our feet to our load bars. One of the great features of this box, is that the feet will actually click when you have them secured appropriately. more

With a factory roof rack system on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing our Sonic directly onto our load bars. With the feet hanging out of the bottom of the box, we can adjust them as necessary to fit around each bar. We'll open the passenger side of the box and tighten the two hand knobs on this side to secure our feet around our bars. Now one of the great features of this box is its ability to let you know when the feet are secure. When tightening, we'll hear a clicking noise to let us know that the foot is fully secure and around our load bars. more

This box opens from one side only so we'll be setting it towards our passenger side for easier accessibility. With our factory roof rack on our vehicle, we will begin our test fit by placing our cargo carrier directly onto our load bars. We will open our box, placing our feet through the appropriate slots, making sure they go around our bars. After sliding the box forward slightly, we will tighten each of the four hand knobs to secure our cargo carrier to our bars. more

Today on our 2012 Honda Odyssey, we will be test fitting the Thule Pulse Alpine Rooftop Cargo Box with 11 cubic feet of storage space in matte black, part number TH613. With the factory roof rack on our Odyssey, we will begin by placing the cargo carrier directly onto the crossbars. Keep in mind that this box opens from one side only, so we will be placing it in on the passenger side for easier accessibility. We will open our box, place our feet through the appropriate slots, making sure that they go around our crossbars. Before tightening our feet, we'll go ahead slide the boxes as far forward as possible, giving us maximum access to our rear hatch. We will now use the attached hand knobs to tighten each foot around our bars. With all four feet tight, our box is secured and we are ready to go. more

With the feet hanging out of our cargo box, we will adjust them as necessary to fit around our crossbars. Here on the passenger side, we will open our cargo box. We will use the two hand knobs to tighten the feet securely around the bars. One of the great features of this cargo box is it's ability to open from the driver or passenger side. more

One of the great features of the Sonic is it's ability to let you know when the feet are secure around the bars. You'll hear a clicking noise when they're secure. Another great features is it's ability to open from either side of the vehicle. We'll move to the driver side, open the box and tighten down the two remaining feet using the hand knobs until we hear that clicking noise. Here at the rear you can see that we have full access to our rear hatch without making contact with the back of our box. With the Thule rapid cross road roof rack system on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the Thule Force directly on our load bars. With the feet hanging out of the bottom of the box, we can adjust them as necessary to fit around each bar. We'll open the passenger side of the box and tighten the two hand knobs on this side to secure our feet around our bars. A great feature of the Thule Force is it's ability to open from either side of the vehicle. We'll move to the driver's side, open the box and tighten the two remaining feet using the hand knobs. Here at the rear when trying to open the rear hatch we see that it does make contact with the rear of our box.
