How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Yakima SkyBox NX on our 2023 Ford F-150. The SkyBox is gonna help solve the problem of having more space, especially when you have a crew cab that's a little bit more focused towards moving passengers versus equipment and stuff. Your short bed is gonna be, you know, pretty limited for space, so you can take advantage of your rooftop to get those bigger, bulkier items on the road along with you. The SkyBox NX has the nanomaterial. And essentially what that's gonna do is gonna allow it to resist scratching and just maintain a nice appearance on top of your vehicle. A cool feature, you have a locking box and the key stays in the lock once it's unlocked. more

How's it going everybody Today we are going to be taking a look at the Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Cargo Box and how it fits on our 2021 Ford F-150. We have ours here on our truck bed rack system, rather than up on the roof just 'cause it's pretty tall up there. And if this is an option, there'll still be access to your bed and you can get some more items into this box up on top. So let's take a closer look at how it works. The box is going to be made of a durable ABS plastic so it's gonna hold up to the elements. It's also got this nano textured finish which is gonna help cut down on some of that wind noise and resistance, while also giving it this nice appearance. more

Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2010 Ford F-150- Video
Today, on our 2010 Ford F150, we'll be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box measuring 22 cubic feet in metallic silver, part number TH636S. With a Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the Thule Sonic directly onto our load bars. With the feet hanging out of the bottom of the box, we can adjust them as needed to fit around each load bar. Once we have it set the way we like, we can then open the passenger's side of the box and use the 2 hand knobs on this side to tighten our feet around our bars. The great feature of the Thule Sonic is its ability to let you know when the feet are secured around the bar. When tightening, you'll hear a clicking noise when the feet are secured around the bar. Another great feature is its ability to open from either side of the vehicle. more

With the Thule rapid traverse Roof-rack system on our vehicle, well begin out test fit by placing the Thule Sonic directly onto our load bars. With the feed hanging out of the bottom of the box, we can adjust them as necessary to fit around each bar. Once we have the box situated the way we like, we can open, here on the passenger side of the box, and use the two hand-knobs on this side to tighten our feet around our bars. When the hand-knobs are tight enough, theyll make a clicky noise letting you know that the feet are secure around our bar. Another great ability is its ability to open from either side of the vehicle. Well move to the driver side, open the box, and tighten down the two remaining feet using the hand-knobs until you hear the clicky noise. With all 4 feet tight, our box is secured, and were ready to go. Keep in mind that this box opens from one side only so we'll want to place it toward the passenger side for easier accessibility. With the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System on our vehicle we'll begin our test fit by placing the Thule Pulse directly onto our load bars. Once we have the box situated we can then open the box and place our feet through the appropriate slots, making sure that the feet go around each load bar. Today, on our 2010 Ford F150, we'll be test fitting the Thule Pulse Alpine Rooftop Cargo Box measuring 11 cubic feet in matte black, part number TH613. Keep in mind that this box opens from 1 side only, so we'll be setting it towards the passenger's side for easier accessibility. Today on our 2013 F-150 we will be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL rooftop cargo box 22 cubic feet in metallic silver, part number th636s with a Thule aeroblade rooftop rack system assembled onto our vehicle we will begin our test fit by placing our cargo box directly on top of our load bars. Then we can go ahead and open our cargo box and fit our clamps around each load bar. We will tighten the hand knobs which will tighten the feet of the clamps and secure our cargo box to our vehicle. With all of the clamps tight we are ready to start loading up our gear. As you can see we can open the cargo box from either side of the vehicle. This is a huge convinience when loading and unloading. more

Today on our 2013 Ford F150, we'll be testing in the Thule Pulse Medium Rooftop Cargo Box 14 cubic feet in Matte Black Part Number TH614. With a Thule AeroBlade Roof Rack System assembled under our vehicle, we begin our test fit by placing our cargo box directly unto our load bars. One we have it situated the way we like, we can then open the box and fit our clamps through their appropriate slots making sure that the foot of each clamp goes around our load bars. Once we have our clamps in place, we can then use the him knob to tighten them down. With each clamp tight, our box is now secure to our roof rack and we're ready to start loading up our gear. Today on our 2013 Ford F150 we'll be test fitting the Thule Force XXL Rooftop Cargo Box, part number th626. Now our vehicle is already equipped with the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System, so we'll begin our test by placing the cargo box onto the vehicles load bars. We'll unlock the box and open the lid exposing the four knobs. We'll loosen up the knobs and position the claws over the load bars. Depending on where you position the box on your roof, you can go to the other side of the vehicle and open up the lid to expose the knobs closest to you. This double-sided opening lid allows for easier installation and makes it easier to load or unload your gear from either side of the vehicle. more

With the feet hanging out of the bottom of the box, we'll make sure that when sliding it onto our roof rack that the feet are going around our load bars. Once we have it situated the way we like, we can then open one side of the box and use the hand knob to tighten down our clamp on that side of the cargo box, and then we'll open it from the other side and tighten the two remaining clamps. Now that our cargo box is installed, were ready to start loading up our gear.
