Now, this can be a great option if we want to get things out of the back of our traverse and up onto our roof. Now, a lot of times you can just go with those cargo baskets. However, we do have an enclosed space in here, so we're going to get a lot of those items that maybe, you know aren't going to do so well with the all weather that we're going to be participating in as we go on these long drives especially cause we are having those back seats in that Traverse. more

Thule Force XXL Roof Box Installation - 2011 Chevrolet Traverse

Today on our 2011 Chevy Traverse, well be test fitting the Thule Force XXL Roof Top Cargo Box with 21 cubic feet of space, aero skin black in color, part number TH626. With the factory roof rack system on our Traverse, well begin our test fit by placing the cargo box up onto the vehicles crossbars. You want to be careful when placing the cargo box up onto your roof if you have the factory crossbars, as you dont want the clamps to be resting on the part where the crossbar anchors to the roof as it may have been the clamp. Once we have the clamps fit around the bars and the boxes in position, we can unlock it and open the lid exposing the two closest knobs. Well then turn the knobs to tighten on the clamps up against the bars. Now this double-sided opening lid will also enable you to easily load and unload your cargo from either side of the car. Well move to the other side of the vehicle and repeat the same process. more

Today on our 2011 Chevy Traverse we'll be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL rooftop cargo box with 22 cubic feet of space in metallic silver, part number TH636S. With a factory roof rack system on our Traverse, we'll begin our test fit by placing the cargo box up onto the vehicle's crossbars. Now you want to be careful when lifting the box up onto the crossbars that the claws hanging out of the bottom of the box dont rest on the part that anchors to the roof, as you might damage the clamp. Now I'll unlock the box and open the lid, exposing the two closest knobs. I'll then tighten down the two knobs, which will bring the clamps tightly around the crossbars. Now this box does feature the AcuTight mounting hardware, which notifies you when the clamps have been fully tightened down when the knob starts to click. We'll then move to the other side of the car and repeat the same process. Once everything is all tightened down and secured I'll move to the back, and you can see that the rear hatch does not come in contact with the back of the box. more

Today on our 2011 Chevy Traverse we'll be test fitting the Thule Sonic Medium rooftop cargo box with 13 cubic feet of space in glossy black, part number TH634B. With a factory roof rack system on our Traverse we'll begin our test fit by placing the cargo box up onto the vehicle's crossbars. Now be careful when placing the box up onto the crossbars as you don't want the clamps to rest on the portion of the crossbar which anchors to the roof, as it may bend the clamp. With the box in position and the clamps in place, we'll unlock the box and open the lid, exposing the two closest knobs. We'll then turn the knobs, which will tighten down the clamps up against the crossbars. Now this box features the AcuTight mounting hardware, which will notify you when the clamp has been fully tightened when the knob starts to click. We'll then move to the other side of the vehicle and repeat the same process. Once everything is all tightened down and secured I'll move to the back of the Traverse and open up the rear hatch. more

Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2011 Chevrolet Traverse

Today on our 2011 Chevy Traverse we'll be test fitting the Thule Pulse Large rooftop cargo box with 16 cubic feet of space in matte black, part number TH615. With the factory roof rack system on our Traverse, we'll begin our test fit by placing the cargo box up onto the vehicle's cross bar. Now since this box only opens from one side, you'll need to position it on the passenger side of the roof. With the box in place, you can unlock it and open the lid, exposing the 4 slots in the bottom of the box. You can take the clamps, slide them down through the slots over the top of each bar, and then turn the knobs to tighten down the clamps. Once everything is all tightened down and secure, we'll go ahead and move to the back of the Traverse and open up the rear hatch, and with no interference, that will complete today's test fit of the Thule Pulse Large, part number TH615, on our 2011 Chevy Traverse. more

Today on our 2011 Chevy Traverse, we'll be test fitting the Thule Pulse Medium rooftop cargo box with 14 cubic feet of space mate black in color part number TH614. With the factory roof rack system installed on our Traverse, we'll begin our test fit by placing the cargo box directly onto our vehicles cross bars. Now this box does only open from one side you'll need to position it on the passenger side of your roof. With the box in place we can unlock it and open the lid exposing the four slots in the bottom of the box. We'll take the clamps and slide them down through the slots over the top of each bar and then we'll tighten down the knob to secure the clamps to the cross bars. Once all the clamps are all tighten down, I'll move to the back of the car and open up the rear hatch and you can see that there is no interference. more

With a factory roof rack system installed onto our Traverse, we'll begin our test fit by placing the cargo box up onto the vehicle's cross bars. You want to be careful in placing the box on the roof, that the clamps don't rest on the part where the crossbar anchors to the roof line as the clamp could bend and be damaged. With the box in position, we can unlock it and open the lid, exposing the two closest knobs. We'll then turn the knobs, which will tighten on the clamps or on the bars. By this double-sided opening lid will also enable you to easily load and unload your cargo from either side of the car. We'll then move to the other side of the vehicle and repeat the same process. Once everything is all tightened down and secured, we'll move to the back. more
