Today we're taking a look at the Yakima Sky Box 21. This is an extra large roof mounted cargo carrier, and we'll take a look at how it fits on a 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe. Your Tahoe is a big car, so if you're gonna get a rooftop cargo box, you might as well get a big box to match. And, this is gonna be the Sky Box 21. Great for if you wanna carry around larger items like suitcases or big bags, but you also want the length for your longer skis and snowboards. So, we'll talk about those features, and we're gonna focus a little bit on how it fits specifically on the Tahoe. more

Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe- Video
This is my car, 2001 Chevy Tahoe. And we're taking a look at the Thule Motion XT rooftop cargo box. I'm using a factory roof rack. If you have an aftermarket roof rack, it's still gonna fit. You just wanna measure and make sure that the width of your crossbars are gonna be no larger than three and a half inches. And then the height is gonna be no larger than one and 11/16 inches. more

Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Yakima Rocketbox pro 11. This is going to have eleven cubic feet of cargo space. It comes in that nice gloss black finish. It's going to be part number Y-0-7-1-9-3. Up on top of our vehicle you can see that we have after market cross bars installed on our vehicle, and we're going to show you what this looks like up on top of those. It can fit your square bars, your rounds bars, your elliptical bars, even your factory crossbars or aero tight bars. So once we get it set up on top like so, we will then adjust our feet. more

Yakima RocketBox Pro Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe y07192- Video
Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Yakima RocketBox Pro 14. They come in that nice gloss like finish with 14 cubic feet of cargo space. Part number Y07192. The feet on the bottom are going to be big enough that we can occupy either your square bars, round bars, elliptical type bars, arrow type bars, even your factory cross rails. If you look up on top of our vehicle, you'll notice that we do have after market bars installed on our vehicle. Lets look at how it is going to fit on those. First, we'll place it up on top of the vehicle to see if we have the feet spaced out properly. It looks like they are going to be all right. Slide it across just to where it is on top of the roof rack system and then we'll bump it back a little bit. Pull it back on to the crossbars to where the feet are underneath. Then, we'll slide it to the center of our vehicle. more

Today on our 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe, we'll be test-fitting the Yakima RocketBox Pro 11 rooftop cargo box measuring 11 cubic feet in black, Part Number Y07193. With the factory roof rack system on our vehicle, we'll begin our test-fit by placing our box directly onto our crossbars. With the feet hanging out of the bottom of the box we can adjust them as necessary to fit around each bar. Since this is a longer box we'll set it as far forward as possible, that way we have clearance when opening our rear hatch door. We'll open the passenger side of the box by moving the key to the unlock position and pushing in on the red button. We'll tighten the T-handles to secure our feet around our bars. Today on our 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe, we'll be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box, measuring 22 cubic feet in metallic silver, part number TH636S. With the factory roof rack system on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing our box directly onto our crossbars. With the feet hanging out of the bottom of the box, we can adjust them as necessary to fit around each bar. We'll open the passenger side of the box and tighten the 2 feet on this side to secure them around our bars. One of the great features of the Thule Sonic is its ability to let you know when each foot is secured around the bar. When tightening, you'll hear a clicking noise to let you know it's secure. Another great feature of the Thule Sonic is its ability to open from either side of the vehicle. We'll move to the driver side, open the box and tighten down the 2 remaining feet using the hand knobs until we hear that clicking noise. Here at the rear, you can see that we have full access to our rear hash door. Today on our 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe, we'll be test-fitting the Thule Pulse Alpine Rooftop Cargo Box measuring 11 cubic feet in matte black, part number TH613. Now keep in mind that this box opens from one side only so we'll be setting it towards the passenger side for easier accessibility. With the factory roof rack system on our vehicle, we'll begin our test-fit by placing our box directly onto our crossbars. We'll open the box, place our feet through the appropriate slots making sure that they go around each crossbar. Then we can use the attached hand-knob to secure our feet around our bars. With all four feet tight, our box is secure and we're ready to go. Here at the rear you can see that we have full access to our rear hatch door without it making contact with the back of our box. Today on our 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe, we'll be test-fitting the Thule Force XXL Rooftop Cargo Box measuring 21 cubic feet in Aeroskin black, Part Number TH626. With the factory roof rack system on our vehicle, we'll begin our test-fit by placing the Thule Force directly onto our crossbars with the feet hanging out of the bottom of the box we can adjust them as necessary to fit around each bar. We'll open the passenger side of the box and use the two hand-knobs on this side to tighten our feet around our bars. One of the great features of the Thule Force is its ability to open from either side of the box. We'll move to drivers side, open the box and tighten down the two remaining feet using the hand-knobs. With all four feet tight, our box is secured to our roof rack and we're ready to go. With our crossbar set as far forward as possible and our box as far forward as possible, here at the rear when opening the rear hatch you can see that we have full access. Rhino-Rack Master-Fit Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe- Video
Today our 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe will be tested in the Rhino-Rack Master Fit roof top cargo box measuring 14 cubic feet in silver. Part number RMF400. With a factory roof rack system on our vehicle we'll begin our test by placing our box directly on to our cross bars. Once we have the box situated the way we like we could open the passenger side of the box and place our feet through the appropiate slots making sure that they go around our cross bars.We can then use the hand dials to tighten each foot around our bar. One of the great features of the Master Fit is its ability to open from either side of the vehicle. We'll move to the driver's side, open the box, place our feet through the appropiate slots making sure they go around our cross bars and then use the hand dials to secure them around each bar. With all four feet tight our box is all loaded up and we're ready to go. Today on our 2013 Chevy Tahoe well be test fitting the Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box, matte black in color with 16 cubic feet of space, part number th615. Now to begin our test fit, well simply place the cargo box onto the vehicles crossbars. Well then open up the box to expose the gray knobs on the inside of the cargo box. Well then tighten them down to secure the jaws to the crossbars of the vehicle. Now, to begin our test fit well set the cargo box onto the vehicles crossbars. Well then use the key to open up the cargo box to expose the gray knobs. Well then tighten down the gray knobs to clamp the claws down on the vehicles crossbars. Thule Force Medium Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe- Video
Today on our 2013 Chevy Tahoe we'll be test fitting the Thule Force medium rooftop cargo box, 13 cubic feet, AeroSkin black in color, part number TH624. Now, to begin our test fit we'll simply place the cargo box onto the vehicles crossbars. Note that it might be easier to loosen up the claws of the cargo box before setting the box onto the vehicles crossbars. To mount the cargo box onto the vehicles crossbars we'll open up the box and turn the gray knobs to tighten down the claws the secure it to the crossbars. Now, one great feature of the Thule Force is its ability to open from both the passenger and driver side of the vehicle for easier access when loading and unloading your cargo and when installing the box onto the vehicle. Thule Force XL Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe- Video
Today on our 2013 Chevy Tahoe, we'll be test fitting the Thule Force XL Rooftop Cargo Box with 17 cubic feet AeroSkin Black in color, part number TH625. To begin our test fit, we'll first place the cargo box onto the vehicle's cross bars. Note that before doing so, it may be easier to loosen up the claws before setting the box onto the vehicle's cross bars. We'll then open up the box and tighten down the gray knobs on the bottom of the cargo box to tighten down the claws to grip it to the cross bars. Once special thing about the Thule Force is that the cargo box can open from both the passenger side and driver side of the vehicle, ensuring easy access for tightening down the claws to the cross bars and loading up cargo. Another great feature about the Thule Force XL is your ability to open up the vehicle's cargo door while the cargo box is attached to the vehicle's cross bars. more
