Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2006 Acura TL- Video

Today on our 2006 Acura TL we'll be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL Roof Top Cargo Box, measuring twenty-two cubic feet, in metallic silver, part number TH636S. With a Thule Arrow Blade Roof Rack System assembled onto our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the Thule Sonic directly onto our load bars. Since the feet are hanging out of the bottom of the box, we can adjust them as necessary to fit around our load bars, while placing the box onto our roof rack. Once we have the box situated the way we like, we can then open the passenger side of the box and use the hand knobs to tighten the two feet around our bars on this side. When you hear a clicking or a ratcheting sound, that means that you got the clamps tight enough. One of the great features of the Thule Sonic is its ability to open from either side of the vehicle. more

Well go ahead and open the box and then place our feet through the appropriate slots making sure that they go around our load bars. Since the feet are already hanging out of the bottom of the box, we can adjust it as necessary to fit it around our bars while placing it onto our roof rack. Once we have it situated the way we like, we can open the passenger's side of the box and use the hand knobs to tighten our feet around our bars on this side. Once of the great features of the Thule Force is its ability to open from either side of the vehicle. We'll move to the driver's side, open the box and tighten down the two remaining clamps using the hand knobs. With everything tight and secure, our box is all loaded up and we're ready to go. more
