Today on our 2016 Jeep Patriot, we're doing a test fit of the Thule Sprint T-Track Roof Mounted Bike Rack. That part number is TH569. Now we already have our bike loaded up. The first thing we're going to show you is how we secure that down. Here at our back wheel cradle, we have a ratcheting strap with a bushing on there to protect your tire. We're just going to push on that grey button there and pull that strap through. Up at the front we have a skewer 00:00:33, it's a little different than most skewers you're going to see on your bike racks. more

Today, on our 2016 Jeep Patriot, we're doing a test fit of the Inno Multi-Fork Lock Roof-Mounted Bike Rack. That part number is INA392. Now, we already have our bike secured down. We're first going to show you how we do that and then we'll go over some features of the rack itself. Here at the back, we press down on our black button, we're going to release our ratcheting straps. That's just going to hold that back tire in place, in our wheel cradle. Up at the front, we have a locking cover. If we undo that, you'll see our anti-theft and anti-tampering device. We're just going to flip that over and fold that out of the way. Today on our 2015 Jeep Patriot we're doing a test fit of the Rocky Mounts brass Knuckles roof mounted bike rack. The part number for that is RKY1202. So the first thing we are going to go over is how we have our bike strapped down. Back here in the back we just have a regular wheel strap here. To release that we are going to just push down and lift up. You want to make sure its between your spokes whenever you load up your bike. If we come up to the front we have a strap again here. We've also got a wheel cradle back here that's going to hold that in place and we have our wheel hook. more

Inno Roof Bike Racks Review - 2015 Jeep Patriot- Video
Today on our 2015 Jeep Patriot, we're doing a test fit of the Inno Fork lock roof mounted bike rack, part number INXA391. Now, the first thing we're going to do is show you how we strap our bike down. Back here in the back we've got a standard wheel strap, that's just going to secure that back wheel to the bike rack. The nice thing about this is that it does have, back here we've got a channel for the smaller tires like we have here but you can also fit tires on there as well. To release that we just pull down and lift up on the strap and whenever we load it up we want to make sure the strap is between the spokes. Then we can come up to the front, we've got a locking cover to prevent theft. Take that off and we've got a skewer here we just pull on the black handle, and we can loosen and tighten with the black knob on this side to secure our fork mounts in place. So just take our bike off and set it off to the side; it's always a good habit to reconnect your straps so you don't lose any. more

Today on our 2015 Jeep Patriot, we're doing a test fit of the Inno Multi Fork Bike Rack. It's a roof meta bike rack and part number for that is INA392. The first thing we're going to go over is how it is strapped down. In the back here, we've got an adjustable wheel cradle that can move up and down the bike rack to accommodate different types of bikes and we've got a regular wheel strap here. We just push the button and lift to release. You want to make sure that strap goes between your spokes so you don't damage them. Up in the front, it's got a locking cover to protect your bike. more

Today on our 2015 Jeep Patriot, we're doing a test fit of the Inno Slim Fork Roof Mounted Bike Rack, part number INA387. Now, we do already have our bike on the rack. We're first going to show you how we strap that down. Back here in the back, we're got a wheel clamp holding that in. Basically what it does is sandwich that wheel into place so it won't move anywhere. Now the nice thing about this is that it is adjustable so it is all the way out to the side of the cradle here so you can fit different types of bike tires in there. We come up to the front, we've got a locking cover here that's protecting our skewer that's going across. more

Today in the studio we have a 2013 Jeep Patriot. We're going to do a quick test fit of the Thule Sprint roof-mounted bike rack, part number TH528. Now we have our Rhino Rack roof rack system installed on the factory side rails of our Jeep. We'll begin our test fit simply by just placing the rack up onto the roof rack. First we need to take this rubber-coated steel strap to go around the underside of the bar and then we'll hook this strap in this slot here like so. Basically we're going to do the same exact thing for the rear clamp. more

Today in the studio we have a 2013 Jeep Patriot. We're going to be doing a quick test fit of the Swagman Upright roof-mounted bike rack. This is part number S64710. We have a Rhino Rack roof rack up on our vehicle so we'll begin our test fit simply by just placing the rack up onto the crossbars. Now the hardware that it uses are these silver u-bolts, which will go around the underside of the bar here. Then we have these wing nuts, which we'll just thread down on top of the u-bolts. more

Today in the studio we have a 2013 Jeep Patriot, we'll be doing a quick test fit of the Yakima Forklift, this is a roof mounted bike rack. Its part number Y0209. Now we have Rhino Rack Roof Rack System installed on the factory rails of our Jeep. We'll begin our test fit simply by just placing the rack up onto the bars. Now if you can see here, there is these 3 slots, this just helps you determine just like the best fit for the thickness of your crossbars. Swagman Fork Down Roof Bike Racks Review - 2015 Jeep Patriot- Video
Today on our 2015 Jeep Patriot, were going to be doing a test fit on the Swagman Fork Down. This is a roof mounted fork clamp style bike rack, part number of it is S64710. To begin the test fit, we're going to place the rack right up onto the roof rack of our vehicle. We've already installed the Rhino Rack Vortex Aero Roof Rack system, so we're just going to center the head of the carrier here on our front load bar. We'll bring the metal U bolt around the underside, fit it up through the head and then we'll secure it in place with the two wing nuts. We'll take our second U bolt, we're going to do the same thing, bring it around the underside, fit it up through and thread our wing nuts on. As you can see, I'm just threading these on loosely for now. I don't want to get them too tight in case I need to adjust the rack or something. more

Today on our Jeep Patriot 2015, we're going to do a test fit on the Thule Sprint. This is the roof mounted fork clamp style bike rack. Part number on it is TH528. Now, we've already got our Thule Rapids Crossroads roof rack system installed in the Patriot. To begin our test fit, we'll simply just place our roof rack, our bike rack rather up on the roof rack. As you can see, we'll position front pad or front foot directly over the top of our front bar and we will slide our rear one back or forward just depending on where it's positioned when you get it, to be resting squarely on top of our rear bar and then bring your black rubber coated metal strap around, fit it into the small indention on the front there. more

Once we've got that down and around we'll remove the black cover that's located here on the top. With that out of the way we'll bring our straps around and fit them right into the indentions or the slots that are here in the head of the carrier. more

This is a roof-mounted bike rack, part number TR02. First thing we need to do is pick up our rack and place it onto the crossbars of our roof rack. You can see there's kind of a little dent here at the top which you'll want to set that kind of on the strip or, depending on what kind of bar you have, just on the center. Next we'll pull out our rubber-coated U-bolts which will then go around the underside of the bar and then up through the predrilled holes at the head of the bike rack. Let's see. We'll find the holes first. more

Today we have a 2013 Jeep Patriot in the studio. We'll be doing a quick test of it on the Swagman Upright Roof-Mounted Bike Rack, part number S64720. First thing we need to do is place the bike rack up onto our vehicle's crossbars. You get everything situated, you want this front platform to be resting over your front bar. With that in place we'll pull out some of our hardware. We'll start with the silver U-bolts, which will go around the underside of the front bar up through the pre-drilled holes of the bike rack. Once you get those through, then we'll take our black wing nuts and thread those onto it. more

Thule Big Mouth Roof Bike Rack Review - 2014 Jeep Patriot- Video
Today on our 2014 Jeep Patriot, well be test fitting the Thule Big Mouth, a frame clamp roof-mounted bike rack, part number TH599XTR. With our Thule Crossroads roof rack system already installed on our Patriot, well begin the test fit by placing our Big Mouth directly onto our load bars. Here at the front, well loosen two wing-nuts, take the T-bolts out of the clamps, bring our clamps around our load bar, place the T-bolt back into the slot, and tighten them down using the two wing-nuts. Once those are secure, well move to the rear and take the bolt out of the metal plate. Well then bring our bolts around our load bar, place the one weve removed back through our plate, and secure it down using a wing-nut. Once this is secure, were ready to load our bike. Well undo our wheel straps and open our frame jaws. Well place our bike onto the rack, securing it first using the frame jaw. Well do this by lifting the arm and engaging our clamp with the black lever. more

Swagman Upright Roof Mounted Bike Rack Review - 2014 Jeep Patriot- Video
,Today on our 2014 Jeep Patriot we'll be test filling the Swagman Upright Roof Bike Rack. Part number S64720. With our Thule Aero Blade Edge Roof Rack System already installed on out vehicle. We'll begin our test fit placing the rack directly onto our load bars. We'll then bring one of the large U bolts around the under side of our load bar through the head of our bike rack and secure it with the 2 wing knots. We'll then repeat the same process for the other side of the head in the front. Here at the rear, we'll place our U bolt through the top of the bike rack, making sure that each bolt goes around our rear cross bar. We'll then install our plate, make sure the bolts go through our plate and secure it by tightening down 2 wing knots. With our racks secure, we're ready to load our bike. First, we'll undo our wheel straps and open our frame jaws. more

Kuat TRIO Roof Bike Rack Review - 2014 Jeep Patriot- Video
Today, on our 2014 Jeep Patriot, we'll be test fitting the Kuat Trio, a Fork Mount Roof Bike rack, part #ru01. With the Thule Aeroblade Edge Roof Rack System already on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the Trio directly onto our load bars. At the front, we'll a black rubber coated u-bolt around the underside of our load bar, fit it to through the head of our rack, and thread onto the barrel nuts. On the other side of the front, we'll do the same thing. Once we have all 4 started, we'll take the included Allen tool and tighten these down. We'll now move to the rear, where we'll remove one of the thumb nuts, bring one bolt down on either side of the load bar, replace the bottom half of our clamp, and secure it with a thumb nut. Once we have this secured, we're ready to load our bike. We'll loosen our front skewer and undo our rear wheel strap, then grab our bike. more

Thule Domestique Roof Bike Rack Review - 2014 Jeep Patriot- Video
Today on our 2014 Jeep Patriot, well be test fitting the Thule Domestique Fork mounted roof mount bike carrier, part number th513. Now with our roof rack system already assembled onto our vehicle, well begin our test fit by placing the carrier onto the vehicle load bars. Well loosen up the front and rear bracket to bring the brackets around the underside of the load bars. Now for the front bracket, you must remove the skewer in order to have access to the front two Allen bolts. Well loosen up the Allen bolts to bring the bracket around the front load bar and then tighten them back in place. Then for the rear bracket well loosen up the Allen bolts and bring the bracket around the rear load bar and then tighten them down with the included Allen key and replace the skewer. more

Today on our 2004 Jeep Patriot, were going to be test fitting the Swagman Fork style roof mounted bike carrier, part number s64710. To begin our test fit, well want to attach our bike carrier directly to our bars. Well place the bike rack up on top of our load bars. At the front well fit the tow U-bolts around our load bars and use the ring nuts to secure the front of the bike rack. Next well move to the rear of the bike carrier and well fit the U-bolt through the carrier from the top. Well take the clamp and two wing nuts to clamp around the bar from the bottom. more

Today on our 2014 Jeep Patriot well be test fitting the RockyMounts TieRod Stretch Roof Mounted Bike Carrier part #RKY1011. Now with the roof rack system already assembled on our vehicle, well begin our test fit by placing the carrier onto the vehicles load bars. Then we can go ahead and remove the black plastic cap to bring the rubber coated steel straps around the front load bar and hook them into position.We can then move to the rear load bar where well loosen up one of the Allen bolt to bring that bracket around the underside of the rear load bar. Well through the bolt back into the bracket and tighten it down securing the rear of the carrier to the rear load bar. Now that the carrier is secure to the vehicle we can go ahead and replace our front black plastic cap and get ready to load our bike. Well loosen up the rear tray strap and place our bike onto the carrier. more

Today on our 2014 Jeep Patriot were going to be test fitting the RockyMounts TieRod Roof Mounted Bike Carrier part #RKY1014. Our Patriot is equipped with factory side rails and a Thule Roof Rack, so were going to mount the RockyMounts Tierod directly to our Thule Aeroblades. Well lift up the carrier and set it on top of our load bars. Next well go ahead and feed the steel straps at the head of the bike carrier around our front bar. Well lock them into the head and use an Allen key to tighten them down. Then we can go ahead and reinstall the cover that goes over the front head of our bike carrier. more

Alright, today in this 2012 Jeep Patriot, we're going to do a test fit of a Thule Bike Rack, product number TH513, the Domestique Fork-Mounted Bike Carrier. Alright, now our Jeep has already been equipped with a Thule Roof Rack System on it with the Thule AeroBlades. And we have our bicycle rack already assembled according to instructions so it's just a matter of putting it in place. We'll take the clamp for the front of the bike rack. We'll run it around the first crossbar and then we'll slide a clamp for the second crossbar into place. Once you have it in the bars, position the way you want it, and then we can go ahead and attach the hardware and then tighten it down. more

Alright, today 2012 Jeep Patriot, we're going to do a test fit of product number RKY1014. This is the TieRod bicycle rack from RockyMounts. Now, our Jeep has been already equipped with an aftermarket roof rack system with elliptical bars, so it's just a matter of installing the TieRod on top of those. Our bike rack has already been assembled according to instructions so let's get to it. The front of the bike rack, we'll wrap the two straps around the crossbar and run until it catches on the other side, then we'll raise up the back half of the bike rack and slide the clamp into the other side. We'll loosely install the hardware and once we're ok with placement, we'll go ahead and tighten down everything for good. more
