Each solar panel is going to have 190 watts of input power giving you a total of 570 input watts, that's gonna be a lot of power for you to be able to utilize as long as you have a battery bank big enough to support it, to give you power for the whole weekend. The vehicle we added these to today is going to be a 2014 Ram ProMaster 2500. This kit is going to fit a variety of different things with the Ram ProMaster, this is the short wheel base, so, it was a pretty tight fit as you can see. more

Now this charging system will provide a nice off-grid charging solution for your RV. It uses these five flexible monocrystalline solar panels which'll use the sunlight to produce 550 watts to charge RV batteries. These panels are an nice durable laminated backsheet where they'll withstand water vapor and dirt and the panels themselves, they're only about 3 pounds each and only about 1/8 inch thick, so it makes it very easy to install. They are very durable. more

Here you can see our solar panel installed on top. This is a 50 watt panel and it is a monocrystalline panel, which is the preferred style for efficiency. There's two different types of solar panels, you got your monocrystalline and your polycrystalline. Your monocrystalline typically has a higher wattage value at a smaller footprint than your polycrystalline one. more

We've been getting this question a lot from customers like yourself, and that is how much solar power do you need to power your RV and camper setup So we're going to help you figure out how to figure that out.We found that there are three parts to this equation. The first is you've got to know how much power's available to you in your battery. The second is how much power do you actually use when you go camping And the third is how much power do you need from solar panels and what solar panel wattage do you need to replenish the power that you're drawing from your batteryStep one, if you don't already know the capacity of your battery bank, how many amp hours are available to you, just go look at the battery. So either one or two batteries. Basically that's going to mean things like this, either an in bed camper like we're working in today, pop-up campers, little travel trailers, even mid-size campers can sometimes have two batteries.
