I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and we're taking a quick look at the Jensen Marine Speaker.This is a nice way to upgrade the speakers in your RV or your boat to make sure that they are working properly. You always want to have your tunes with you, and the nice thing about having a Marine speaker over something that's just an automotive grade speaker is that it should last a lot longer. It's rated for use on the water. Especially in any kind of environment that has salt in the air, it can corrode things really quickly, and this should be up to the task to withstand that much better than your typical automotive speaker.Now, this is a dual-cone design, so it's going to have the tweeter and the woofer speaker kind of all in one, so that saves on some space. Gives you a nice compact speaker that should still give you pretty good sound as well. more

This is going to be a coaxial recess mount speaker for your boats, you can also use these for your RVs. The nice thing about a Marine-graded speaker is that it's meant for much harsher conditions like being out on the water and anything that has to deal with salt has to be pretty durable, so you can rest assured this should last you a long time. Something that's nice about the coaxial design is that it usually gives you a better sound since the subwoofer and the tweeter speakers are on their own, or they move separately from each other, so that gives you a better dynamic range of sound from this guy. It does, again, have that recessed mount, so a lot of this is going to be stashed kind of behind the speaker. more

This has a recessed design and it is a dual cone speaker so it gives you that tweeter and subwoofer cone in one to kind of limit the amount of space this takes up, but it still should give you a pretty good performance. It is rated again for Marine use so that means that the components should last up to use out on the water, even if that's salt water, out in the sun. The salt, it tends to corrode these pretty quickly, but since this is rated for that, you should have a much longer life out of this speaker than you would from something that's more of an automotive grade. So let's take a closer look, make sure that this is the right fit for you if you're trying to replace an existing speaker.This has a six-inch diameter that's going from the outside edge to outside edge. more

Today we're going to take a look at the Jensen 500 watt 10 inch diameter marine subwoofer. It has a sealed housing design to specifically designed and tested to withstand unique challenges in the marine world such as humidity, salt air, exposure to UV rays and extreme temperatures. They do use nickel plated copper terminals, insulated tinsel leads and they do use a binding post wire connectors here for spade or pin style connectors. Our RMS power on this is 250 watts, maximum power is 500 watts, frequency range is 20 hertz to one kilohertz, ohms is 3.2 ohms. Voice coil is 50.88 millimeters, does come with the grill and the mounting hardware to install everything. Comes with a nice template, mounting template that you can see it shows you how to measure off and cut out where it needs to be installed.Overall dimension on this diameter from edge to edge is going to be right at 10 and a quarter inches wide, overall height is five and a quarter inches deep. more

Jensen RV Speakers with Grilles Review- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at Jensen's five-inch RV speakers with grilles, Part Number HDS3000.These five-inch dual cone speakers offer 60 watts of power and feature a marine grade construction that can be placed either inside or outside your RV. The dual cone design features a Mylar tweeter to produce your higher frequencies and a five-inch polypropylene woofer for those lower range base frequencies. Both of these are going to be resistant to the elements, so you don't have to worry about a little bit of splashing getting on them from rain or anything else.The triangular shape of the housing offers a 45-degree angle for your speaker, so you can mount it to either give a downward projection or an upward projection depending on your needs. It has a surface mount design, so one side has two holes with slide-in nuts, and it comes with two screws to attach it to wherever you'd like. We've just got ours attached to a bracket here.These speakers can be wired into whatever device you'd like, so you could have them project the sound from your TV for an entertainment system or you could have it hooked to your radio for just jamming out to some music.We then routed the wiring that's pre-attached to our speakers up to our audio unit inside of our RV. The wiring that comes with each speaker is roughly eight feet long. more
