The lunette ring is designed to couple to your pintle hitch, and the heavy duty channel bracket allows you to adjust that lunette rings height to match different tow vehicles. If you notice, they have six mounting holes here on the adjustable channel, so that will give you five mounting positions to put it in. The adjustable channel bracket welds onto your trailer, and then as you can see here, I've bolted the lunette ring to the bracket with the included hardware. It does come with the bolts and the nuts to install the lunette ring.This is a sturdy steel construction, and if you notice on the lunette ring, it has a nice silver powder-coat finish on it that gives you excellent corrosion resistance. more

You can see they finish it with a nice textured dark gray teridium finish to resist corrosion, provides a nice premium look.If you notice also it has a vertically offset base here that allows the ring be flipped for height adjustment. Now, these are going to be designed for any application where you've got a pintle hook that needs to come back and grab your lunette ring.Now, a common cause for replacement, you know, this is a big, heavy duty component, generally they don't break, but they do wear over time. If you take a look here at our old one, you can see, right here where that was riding on that pintle hook, that's decreasing our capacity.
