Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look at the Piston Pro X three bike platform rack right here on our 2011 GMC Yukon. So the three bike version of the Piston Pro X is awesome because then you can carry around more bikes, but you also have great features like a great weight capacity as well as a really long wheelbase. So one of the features we'll take a look at is the tilt away feature. And this is kind of tricky once you have three bikes on there, because you need to hit this handle. You can also kick it, it's kind of far away. more

Pro Series Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 GMC Yukon- Video
Today on our 2016 GMC Yukon we're doing a test fit of the Pro-Series Q-Slot platform-style 2-bike and 4-bike rack, part number PS63138. Now we already have our bike secured down. We're first going to go over how we secure it into place. At our front and back tire we have hook and loop straps. Those are quick and easy to remove. Then in the center we have a frame hook which is going to hold our bike down into our wheel cradles. more

I'm going to get that completely loose, and then I'm going to lift up on pin. It takes a little bit of effort to push it out. more

Today in our 2016 GMC Yukon we're doing a test fit of the Thule Apex hanging style five bike rack. That part number is TH9026. Now we already have our bike secured down. We're first going to show you how we do that. We have two cradles in place with three straps, two on our frame and one is our anti sway strap in the back. We're going to pull down and lift up to release those and we'll take our bike off, making sure that those other cradles are out of the way. more

Today on our 2016 GMC Yukon, we're doing a test fit on the Swagman Dispatch hanging platform-style two-bike rack. That part number's S64684. We already have our bikes secured down, we're first going to show you how we do that. The front and back tire, we have cam buckle straps. Those are going to be quick and easy to remove. In the center, we have a frame hook which sits right in the center of our frame, and it's going to hold our bike into place. We'll just push on that button to release it. more

Now we already have our bike secured down, we're first going to show you how we do that. We have two cradles in place with three straps. Two on our frame here, and one is our anti-sway strap in the back. We're just going to push on our lever, pull this through, and that allows us to release our bike and set it off to the side. Now we'll take a few measurements here. First is going to be overall what we're adding to our vehicle. more

Thule Apex 4 Swing Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2013 GMC Yukon- Video
Today on our 2013 GMC Yukon, we'll be test fitting the Thule Apex Swing 4 Bike Carrier for 2-inch hitches, part number TH9027. To begin our test fit, we'll slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch. Line up our pin hole and allow our attached pin to fall into place. We'll move to the rear of the shank and tighten the hand knob to secure our bike rack to our vehicle and engage our anti-rattle device. Now, we'll go over some clearance measurements. We have about 22 inches of ground clearance. more

Thule Apex 4 Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2013 GMC Yukon- Video
Today on our 2013 GMC Yukon, we'll be test fitting the Thule Apex 4 Bike Carrier for 1-1/2 inch and 2-inch hitches, part number TH9025. To begin our test fit, we'll slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch. Line up the pin hole and allow our attached pin to fall into place. We'll tighten the hand knob here at the rear of the shank to secure our bike racks to our vehicle and engage our anti-rattle device Now, we'll go ahead and go over some clearance measurements. We have about 23 inches of ground clearance. The closest point of the carrier to the rear of the vehicle is here with the hand knob about 1-1/2 away. more
