Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the Pollak in-bed seven-pole wiring on a 2020 Chevy Silverado 3500. Now this is gonna be a really great addition if you have a fifth wheel or gooseneck. And when you plug in your trailer, instead of having to drape it over your tailgate, you'll have this wiring right in your bed, making it super easy, and it keeps all your cords inside of the bed as you're going down the road. Now this obviously you have to have a factory seven way to be able to tie into that. It's really just a jumper harness, but it makes it super convenient. It's gonna give you all the same functions as you would your normal seven poles. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at Etrailer, and today we're taking a look at installing the Tekonsha T-One, 4-Pole trailer wiring harness on a 2024 GMC Terrain. And this is gonna be a great option if you have a hitch on your terrain already because if you ever plan on pulling a trailer or a situation comes up that you need to pull a trailer, having that 4-pole trailer wiring harness means that you can safely and legally tow that trailer to get the light functions. Having this here means that you're able to plug into that trailer and get running lights, turn signals, and brake lights. And normally when it comes to wiring install, you do have to run this up to a battery to get 12 volt power, that's not the case here. This is a super easy installation because there's already a factory plug located in the rear of the fascia. It allows you to plug this in and once you zip tie it up, you're pretty well ready to go. more

Hi, Matt with etrailer, and today we're talking about the seven and four-pole trailer connectors, with the mounting bracket, on our 2015 Toyota 4Runner. What this is gonna be used for is to send power back to a trailer or any accessories you have on your hitch, whether you'd be having a trailer on the back of your vehicle that has a brake system on it, or you need to send lights back to any accessories that you have. The installation is fairly straightforward. You're gonna have a few things that come with your kit. So we're gonna have the sockets themselves. And today, we're gonna be talking about the Curt T-Connector that's gonna take your 7-pole to a 4-pole if you ever need to connect to any accessories that just use 4-pole wiring, because it is still pretty common. It's definitely gonna be something more used for if you have any utility trailers that don't have any electric brakes or you just have any accessories on the back of your vehicle that has lights. So let's check it out. As for installing it, it's pretty straightforward. All you have to do is connect this to your existing 7-pole wiring, and you can use the other side to connect to your 4-pole wiring. more
