Speaker 1: Today on our 2015 Volkswagen Passat, we're going to be taking a look at it and showing you how to install Tekonsha T1 vehicle wiring harness, with four pull, flat trailer connector, part #118646.Now this four pole is going to give you all the necessary lighting for your basic trailer setup. Your wires are marked and they're going to tell you which wire does what. This is what our wiring harness looks like when it's installed. You can see it's going to live inside the vehicle.When you want to use it, simply unroll is, you're going to lay it over the top of this rubber piece here. You want to stay away from any connection points. We'll close the trunk lid, and you can see you have plenty of wire to use as needed. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2007 Volkswagen Passat- Video
Today on this 2007 Volkswagen Passat, we're going to show you the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness from Tow Ready, part number 118562. A few features about this wiring harness, it provides a four-pole flat trailer connector for the vehicle. It's relatively easy with no cutting or splicing or taping into the factory wires of the vehicle. It's all one-piece construction, and with the right adapters, this is also going to be upgraded to a five-pole, six-pole, or seven-pole connector. This is our main wire harness right here. This is our T-connector for the left hand side. The green wire will be your T-connector for the right hand side. more

TowReady Taillight Converter Hardwire Kit Installation - 2003 Volkswagen Passat- Video
Today on our 2003 Volkswagen Passat wagon we're going to be installing the Tow-Ready upgraded circuit-protected taillight converter hard wire kit, part number 119178KIT. To begin our installation we'll need to first raise the rear hatch of the vehicle. Next we're going to need to go ahead and open up the access panel on both the driver and the passenger side to gain access to the taillight wiring. This right here is the bundle of wires that we're looking for. Over here on the driver side right here is the bundle of wires that we're looking for. Next we're going to go ahead and take our test light here. We've connected the other end, which is the ground, to a screw that's up in here. more

TowReady Taillight Converter Hardwire Kit Installation - 2005 Volkswagen Passat- Video
Today on our 2005 Volkswagen Passat, we'll be installing the Tow Ready Circuit Protected 4-Pole Wiring kit, part number 119178KIT. To begin our install, we'll first remove the vehicle's spare tire cover. Set aside and then we're going to remove the rear threshold. To remove the rear threshold, there are multiple fasteners along the bottom and two cargo hooks with fasteners to remove. Once we remove these fasteners, we'll get underneath the threshold with a flat blade screwdriver or interior trim panel tool and pop the fasteners free underneath. Now with all of our fasteners free we'll go ahead and remove the rear threshold and set it aside. Next to access the wiring on the driver's side, we'll open up the rear storage compartment and then we'll move over to the passenger's side where we'll fold back the carpeting and this will allow us access to the passenger's side wiring. We'll go ahead and back probe the taillight connectors starting here on the driver's side, the green wire going into the vertical connector as our running light circuit. more
