If you are looking for a premium roof rack that is versatile but also gets the job done and is strong and reliable so that you can carry on fun accessories like kayaks or if you wanted bike racks or baskets, well this is gonna be a system that I recommend looking into. This consists of two parts. You have your 60 inch JetStream crossbars and then you have your TimberLine towers for raised rails. For your Honda Pilot there might be different options for your roof depending on your trim, and you'll either see rails that look like this, you can fit your hand through. Those are raised rails or you might not see any rails whatsoever. more

Speaker 1: Today in our 2016 Honda Pilot, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima Round Bar Roof Rack System consisting of part numbers Y00409, these are the round crossbars on the top here, and these are 58 inches long.We'll also be using part number Y03536, and this is the Round Bar Adapter Kit for the Yakima towers.We'll also be using part number Y00146. These are the Baseline Towers designed for naked roofs.Finally, to attach it to the vehicle, we're using the Base Clip Fit Kit part number Y06152.This is going to be the same for the rear bars as well. These are great sturdy cross bars for your roof, and car carry a wide variety of accessories such as bike racks, cargo carriers, excuse me, cargo baskets, and cargo boxes.While, they are exceptionally sturdy, they do cause noise while you drive. Now, you can purchase fairings that you can find on etrailer.com to help cut down that wind noise and drag, or you can upgrade to the Yakima core bars that also utilize this tower system.Moving onto the towers themselves, at the end caps here, we do have these plastic portions that can be removed and replaced with the Yakima SKS Lock Core System, so you can secure it to your vehicle and make it key to like with the accessories that you're hauling.Removing our end cap here you can see how everything attaches to the vehicle itself. We have the clamp that attaches to the door frame, as well as the pad underneath. So, your vehicle isn't going to get damaged or scratched once this is installed, because the clamp is also padded once it's being installed.So, let's go ahead and show you how the rear bar gets put into place. more

Today on this 2007 Honda Pilot, we're going to install part number 5100. This is a DrawTite activator trailer brake controller. To help us with our install, we'll be using a couple additional part numbers. We'll be using part number ETBC7 and also a short bracket, part number 18140 from Tow Ready. This is a short universal mounting bracket. To start off, we're going to mount our short bracket since we need something for our 7-pole connector to mount to. We'll take the clamp and run it through the bracket and then the clamp over the hitch. more

Today on this 2003 Honda Pilot we're going to install part number 90885. This is Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller. We'll also be using part number ETBC7, Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controllers, and a bracket for our 7-pole connector which will be part number 18140, the Universal Mounting Bracket. First thing we're going to do is go ahead and get our vehicle ready. Our ETBC7 kit comes with a 7-pole connector and the brackets and all the hardware necessary for installation. However, this is designed to go only to a regular 4-pole flat. It really won't work on this type of specialized connector. more

Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2007 Honda Pilot ETBC7

Today in this 2007 Honda Pilot, we're going to install brake controller using part number ETBC-7. The brake controller we're going to use at the end to install will be part number 90885, the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller. To start off our install, we need to get our 4 pole free from its mount. We'll go ahead and remove from the bracket and get it pushed out away for now. Then we'll install a new bracket for our ETBC-7 kit. The bracket we're going to use to attach our 7 pole to the hitch will be 18136. more
