Hey everybody. Rob here at etrailer.com. And today we're going to be taking a look at the Curt class three custom fit trailer hitch receiver on our 2019 GMC Acadia. Now here's what our hitch is going to look like once we have it installed. It's going to be pretty well hidden, but it is going to stick down right below the bumper, but it sits back pretty far so it's really not that noticeable, but the main thing we are going to see right below the bumper is that receiver tube sticking out.Now it is a class three hitch, so it's going to give us a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening. And it's going to have the widest variety of accessories that we can mount up. more

Now here's what our hitch is going to look like once we have it installed. The crosstube is going to sit right below the bumper, but the main thing we're going to see is that receiver tube sticking out. Now it's a class three so it is going to give us that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening and have the widest variety of options when it comes to accessories. If you want to hit the trail, we can put a bike rack in here, put a couple of bikes and we can take our friends with us. Today, in our 2015 GMC Terrain, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Etrailer.com's class three two-inch trailer hitch receiver.It's mostly hidden behind the bumper, so you really only see the receiver tube and a small section of the cross tube here at the receiver tube. There is a cover located here at the back that does need to be removed, but since it is a nice factory curve, it looks like it was supposed to be that way.This is a class three two inch by two inch receiver, so it's going to be great for all of your towing needs. Whether you're putting a bike rack or cargo carrier in it for your accessories or you're going to pull a trailer, camper, or a boat behind you, this hitch will be able to handle it.It uses a five-eighths inch hitch pinning clip. Now, one doesn't come included with the hitch, but you can pick one up here at Etrailer.com. It features plate-style safety chain loops located on the bottom with a fairly large opening that should accommodate just about every shape, size, and style of safety chain.It features a 350-pound tongue weight, which is the force going down on top of the receiver. With such a high tongue weight, you should have no problem putting on a four-bike rack carrier and loading up four bikes to go to the trail, or it's also enough for you to put a camper on the back and support that as well. more

I really like how our safety chain openings are sloped down and in my opinion, it just gives it kind of a neat look.One of the other thing that separates this hitch from any of the others, is it has a really heavy duty weight capacity. The maximum gross tongue weight rating for the hitch, it's going to be 800 pounds. That's going to be the amount of weight pushing down on our hitch. more

Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 GMC Sierra 1500- Video
Today, on our 2016 GMC Sierra, we're gonna be taking a look at and installing the two inch Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver.All right. The hitch has a black finish and as you can see, it actually blends in really well with the rest of the truck.Now that we have a hitch on the Sierra, we're able to tow things like campers, boats, jet skis, trailers, or we can even use it for things like bike racks or cargo carriers.It's a Class IV hitch. It has a two inch by two inch receiver opening and it has a thick reinforced collar.Now, what kind of separates this hitch from any of the others, this one has an extra hole here and that'll allow us to use a J-Pin. Now the J-Pins are nice because it eliminates any rattle that we may have in our connection point here.The safety chain loops are nice and thick, have a unique shape and are welded to the bottom of the receiver. As you can see there is quite a bit of room here, so you shouldn't have any trouble using just about any size hook you might have.Now, the max towing weight is 900 pounds. So, that's the amount of weight on the receiver here. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2018 GMC Terrain C13307- Video
Today on our 2018 GMC Terrain, we're going to be installing Curt's Class Three, two inch trailer hitch receiver, part number C13307. This is what our hitch is going to look like when it's installed. As you can see, you are going to be able to notice the cross-tube sticking out below it, and as well as the receiver tube coming out the back. It's a class three, two inch by two inch receiver, so it's going to be great for all of your towing needs, from hauling trailers, to bike racks and cargo carriers.It uses a 5/8th inch hitch pin and clip. One doesn't come included with the hitch, but you can pick one up here at etrailer.com. It features plate style safety chain loops, with a very large opening, so it should accommodate just about every shape and size of safety chain. more

Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Installation - 2018 GMC Terrain- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 GMC Terrain, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite Class II Custom Fit trailer hitch receiver, part number 36642. Here's what our hitch is going to look like once we have it fully installed. This is a Class II hitch, which means it's going to offer us that inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter receiver tube opening, which is going to be great for bike racks or cargo carriers. The way we're going to attach any of our accessories to the hitch pin hole on the side, and it is going to accept a standard half inch pin and clip. While these aren't included in the kit, you can pick them up here at etrailer.com, as well as some locking devices. Our safety chain connection points are going to be a loop style welded to the bottom of the receiver tube, and as you can see, we're going to have plenty of room to get most size hooks on or off.As far as weight capacity goes, our hitch is going to have a 350-pound tongue weight, which is going to be the maximum downward force at the receiver tube. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 GMC Acadia, we're going to be installing Curt's class 3 two inch trailer hitch receiver, part number C13293. This is what our hitch is going to look like when it's installed. As you can see, it's mostly hidden behind the bumper, and you're really only going to see the receiver tube here at the back. It's a class 3, two inch by two inch receiver. It uses a five eights inch hitch pin and clip. Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Installation - 2018 GMC Terrain- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 GMC Terrain, we're gonna be taking a look at, and showing you how to install, the Draw-Tite Class III Custom-Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 76419.So, here's what our hitch is gonna look like once we have it installed. The cross tube is gonna be hidden behind the fascia here, and all we're gonna see sticking out is the receiver tube. Now, it is a class III hitch, which means it's gonna give us that two-inch by two-inch receiver tube opening, and have a wide variety of options available for all sorts of accessories.Now the way we're gonna mount any of our accessories to the hitch is gonna be through the larger hole towards the front of our vehicle, and it is gonna accept a standard five-eighths pin and clip. While these are included in our kit, you can pick them up here at etrailer.com.Now the secondary hole towards the back of the receiver tube is gonna be used exclusively for the J-pin stabilization device. Now, the way that's gonna work is we're gonna take the threaded section. It's gonna go in just like a normal hitch pin, but then this secondary hook part is gonna go into the receiver, and it's gonna apply pressure to our accessory. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2017 GMC Terrain - Draw-Tite- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 GMC Terrain you're going to be taking a look at, I'm going to show you how to install, a draw tie class two trailer hitch receiver part number 36408.This is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. So you can see it's completely hidden behind the bumper fascia. The only thing we really see is the receiver tube and just a little bit of the cross tube here in the center. It does fit very nicely with the vehicle.Now as far as weight capacity goes, we're going to have a 300 pound max ton weight, which is downward pressure on the inside of the receiver tube. We're going to have a 3500 pound max trailer weight, which is the trailer plus the load included. I do recommend checking the owners manual of your terrain to make sure the vehicle can withstand that amount of weight. more
