Thule Force Large Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2003 Honda Pilot

Today on our 2003 Honda Pilot we'll be test fitting the Thoule Force Large rooftop cargo box with 13 cubic feet if space, aeroskin black in color, part number Th624. With a factory roof rack system on our vehicle we'll begin our test today by placing the box up onto the vehicle's roof. After positioning the clamps to fit over the front and rear bar we'll unlock the box and open the lid exposing the two closest knobs. We can then turn the knobs to tighten on the clamps up against the bars. We'll move to the other side of the vehicle and repeat the same process. Now this double sided opening lid also enables to you easily load and unload your cargo from either side of the vehicle. Once every thing is all tightened down and secured you can see that we can easily access the rear hatch of our Pilot with the Thoule Force secured. That will complete today's test phase for the Thoule Force Large rooftop cargo box, part number Th624 on our 2003 Honda Pilot. . more

Today on our 2011 Honda Pilot, we'll be test fitting the Thule Sonic double XL roof top cargo box, measuring22 cubic feet, in metallic silver, part number TH636S. With the Thule rapid cross road roof rack system on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the Sonic directly on to our load bars. With the feet hanging out of the bottom of the box, we can adjust them as necessary to fit around each bar. We'll open the passenger side of the box, and tighten down the 2 hand knobs on this side to tighten our feet around our bars. You'll know it's secure when you start hearing a clicking noise while tightening the hand knob. Another great feature is its ability to open from either side of the vehicle. We'll move to the driver's side, open the box, and tighten down the 2 remainingfeet using the hand knobs until we here that clicking noise. Here at the rear, we have partial access to our rear hatch, as it does make contact with the rear of our box. That completes today's test fit of the Thule Sonic double XL roof top cargo box, part number TH636S, on our 2011 Honda Pilot. more

We'llgo ahead and open the box and place our feet through the appropriate slots making sure that they go around the load bars. Then we can use the attached hand knobs to secure them around our bars. With all four feet tight, our box is secured and we're ready to go. Here at the rear you can see that we have fullaccess to our rear hatch door without it making contact with the back of our box. With the Thule Arrow Blade Roof Rack system assembled onto our vehicle we'll begin our test fit by removing our rear antenna. With the rear antenna removed we can place the Thule Pulse directly onto our load bars. Keep in mind that this box opens from one side only, so for today's video we'll be scooting it as close to the passenger side as possible for easier accessibility. Once we have our box set the way we like we can open the box and place our feet through the appropriate slots, making sure that they go around our load bars. With all four of those in place we can use the attached hand knobs to tighten them down. Now we'll move to the rear of our vehicle, open our rear hatch, and as you can see it makes contact with the rear of our box. more

Today on our 2013 Honda CRV, well be test fitting the Yakima RocketBox Pro 11 Rooftop Cargo Box, part number Y07193. Now well begin our test fit by placing the cargo box onto the vehicles crossbars. Well unlock the box and open it up exposing the four black knobs and the four red T-handles. Well loosen up the black knobs to adjust the claw distance to fit the crossbar spread of our vehicle. Once weve established our crossbar spread, we can then tighten down the black knobs to secure the spacing of our claws in place. We can then slide the box back onto the crossbars and turn the red T-handles to tighten down the claws to secure the RocketBox to our CRV. more

Yakima RocketBox Pro 14 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2013 Honda CR-V

Today on our 2013 Honda CRV, well be test fitting the Yakima RocketBox Pro 14 Rooftop Cargo Box, part number Y07192. Well begin our test fit by placing the cargo box onto the vehicles crossbars. Well unlock the box and open it up exposing the four black knobs and the four red T-handles. If necessary well loosen up the red T-handles to loosen up the claws and then slide the backs back onto the crossbars adjusting the claws to fit the crossbar spread on the CRV.Once we have established this position, we can then tighten down the red T-handles to secure the claws to the crossbars. As you can see, with the RocketBox secured to hour Honda CRV, we can easily acces the vehicles cargo area. That completes todays test fit for the Yakima RocketBox Pro 14 Rooftop Cargo Box, part number Y07192 on our 2013 Honda CRV. more

Today on our 2013 Honda CR-V, we'll be test fitting the Thule Pulse Alpine Rooftop Cargo Box, part number TH613. There are a few notes that we want to make aware. When installing this cargo box, we came into contact with the rear antenna. In this case, the rear antenna was removable by simply untwisting it. We decided to go ahead and remove the antenna so our cargo box would be a better fit on the CR-V. With a sleek and long aerodynamic style of this box, it's important to know that you will not be able to open up your hatch without the cargo box and your rear hatch door coming in contact. more

Today in our 2013 Honda CRV, well be testing the Thulle Pulse Medium Rooftop Cargo Box part number TH614. This box is very quick and easy to fit to your vehicle. Its important to know that you will not be able to open up your hatch without the cargo box and your rear hatch door coming in contact. To begin our testing, well go and place our cargo box on top of our crossbars. Well then open our cargo box where we can tighten down the four gray knobs. Make sure that the clamps are already set to be around the crossbars. more

Today on our 2012 Honda Civic Sedan, well be test fitting the Yakima RocketBox Pro 14 Roof Top Cargo Box with 14 cubic feet, black in color, part number Y07192. Now once great feature of the Yakima RocketBox is its ability to open from both sides. For todays demonstration, we will be installing the RocketBox onto the passenger side of the vehicle. Now with the roof rack system already assembled onto our vehicle, well start off our test fit by placing the cargo box onto the vehicles crossbars. Well then slide the box back, which will allow the crossbars to be in between the front and bottom brackets of the cargo box. Well then turn the key and push the red button to open up the cargo box exposing the four read T-handles. more

Today on our 2012 Honda Civic Sedan, well be test fitting the Yakima RocketBox Pro 11 Roof Top Cargo Box with 11 cubic feet black in color, part number Y07193. One great feature of this RocketBox is its ability to open from both sides. So for todays test fit, were going to be positioning the cargo box towards the passenger side of the vehicle. Now with the roof rack system already assembled on our vehicle, well start off our test fit by placing the RocketBox onto the vehicles crossbars. Well then open it up exposing the four red T-handles. Well loosen up the four red T-handles to allow us to bring the brackets around the underside of the crossbars. We can then tighten them down to secure the brackets to the crossbars securing the RocketBox to the vehicle. more

Today on our 2012 Honda CRV were going to be test fitting the Yakima Rocketbox Pro 11 roof mounted cargo box part #: Y07193. To fit the cargo box to our vehicle first well place it up on top of our crossbars. Well then position the clamps over our crossbars and adjust the placement of our cargo box until we get it where we want it. Then well move back and forth from driver side to passenger side to tighten down the clamps inside the box that go around the crossbars. Be careful to make sure that you position the cargo box in a manner that it wont inhibit access to your hatch door at the rear of the vehicle. With all four of the clamps tightened down were all ready to load up our box and get on with our trip. more
