Hey, guys. It's Jake here with Etrailer. Today we have a 2020 Kia Telluride, and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the CURT seven-pole wiring harness. Adding the seven-pole wiring harness to the back of your Telluride is gonna allow you to pull trailers, not only just standard trailers, but also trailers with brakes. That is the point of a seven-pole. In addition to your four normal functions, which are gonna be strictly based off your taillights, your stop, your left and right turn and your running light signal, you're going to get your auxiliary battery signal, which is a charge line, essentially, from your vehicle to your trailer battery. more

Adding a 4-pole wiring harness to the back of your Pathfinder is gonna allow you to safely tow a trailer by transferring the signals back to the taillights to let others know what your intentions are. This harness is gonna give you your left turn, your right turn, your stop signal, which is just a combination between the left and right turns and your running light signal. Hey guys, it's Jake here with Etrailer, today we have a 2016 Honda Odyssey, and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the CURT four-pole wiring harness to tow trailers. This four-pole wiring harness is a great accessory to add to your Honda Odyssey. If you've already got a hitch receiver, I'd highly recommend adding a four-pole wiring harness, just in the odd chance that you may have to tow a trailer or if you're like the owner of this vehicle, they're wanting to pull a small camper. We're actually gonna be pairing this with our ETBC7L kit. That is a seven-pole kit with just the power wire run so that they can use the CURT Echo, plug it in, and they can tow their camper with it. Adding a four-pole wiring harness is going to essentially unleash your hitch, You're not only gonna be stuck with cargo carriers or bike racks in your hitch, you're gonna be able to pull trailers with it, so that you can safely get the lighting functions from your Honda Odyssey to the trailer to let others know what your intentions are on the road. more

Hey guys, it's take Jake with etrailer. Today we have a 2023 Hyundai Palisade and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Curt 4-Pole Trailer Wiring Harness. Now the biggest reason why you would want to install a four-pole trailer wiring harness on your Palisade is because you're wanting to pull a trailer that has a four-pole wiring harness. If you want to pull a trailer that has brakes on it, you're gonna wanna upgrade to a seven pole. We have an ETBC7 kit on our website that will go great with the Palisade and this Curt kit in order to get brakes and your auxiliary and your reverse lights to that trailer. But for our case, they're wanting to pull a small utility trailer that does not have any, it doesn't have the seven pole, and it doesn't have brakes on it. more

Now four-pole wiring is gonna give you the basic lighting functions that you need for either a trailer or hitch-mounted accessories that have auxiliary lighting on them, so you're gonna get your brake lights, your tail lights, your left turn signal, and your right turn signal, now if you're needing more than that, if you have a camper, say, with either electric brakes or a 12-volt auxiliary out. Well neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the Curt 4-Pole Trailer Wiring Harness on a 2016 Ford Transit T-150. Adding 4-pole trailer wiring harness to a Transit is a great idea if you have a hitch because if you ever plan on pulling a trailer, you're gonna need to get the lights sequence to be able to go to the lights on the trailer, and this is a great way to do it because it plugs in directly to your factory style plugs that you have on your taillight. And this one is module protected, meaning any back-feed that might occur from the trailer, it's not gonna harm anything on the vehicle. Not only is it module protected, but it also has an inline fuse, so you don't have to worry about any of that causing issue. Now as far as installation goes, this is pretty easy. You're gonna take your taillights out, and we're gonna be plugging 'em in there. more

This is gonna give you a 4-way connector on the back of your vehicle, giving you running lights, brake lights and turn signals with any trailer that you plan on towing. And even some accessories like bike racks will utilize something like a 4-pole to give you those signals at the back of a bike rack if you plan on using that with your Sportage. Our connector is located pretty far down underneath but it's attached to a bracket on our hitch. Those are the two biggest reasons of why you would want to put four-pole wiring on the back so that you can transfer those lighting signals safely to the accessories or to your trailer to let others know what your intentions are. more

Overall, this installation is pretty simple. It's using that factory plug, so really you should be able to knock this out in about 15 minutes or so. Not to mention too, these Jeeps are getting super popular, people doing a lot of stuff with them, using a lot of accessories, something like those accessories will light up and chances are really good a connector like this will power those up as well. With that said, this is going to provide us with our brake lights, our taillights, as well as our turn signals, so we'll have all of our bases covered there. Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2018 Ford Transit T350- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at Etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Curt four-pole trailer wiring harness on a 2018 Ford Transit T-350. Transits are used for a bunch of different things and a lot of times for business people will be able to pull a trailer. So if you have a hitch on your T-350, it's very beneficial to pick up four pole trailer wiring harness and that way when you plug into your trailer, you'll have those light sequence headed to the lights on the trailer and that way you stay safe and legal. And this kit will plug in directly to your factory lights. You don't have to cut any major wires as far as the factory ones. Now, the trouble I found is the clips aren't exactly great. more

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2023 Buick Enclave and we're gonna be taking a look at, I'mma show you how to install the Tekonsha four pole trailer wiring harness. Now there's gonna be a couple reasons of why you would want to install four pole wiring on your vehicle. First and foremost, it's going to be to pull a trailer safely you have to have lighting signals transferred from the vehicle to the trailer so that others know what your intentions are when you're driving down the road. Definitely at night people can't see your taillights. If you've got something loaded on a trailer or if you have a small camper you're wanting to pull you have to transfer the lighting signals to the back so that people can see the trailer lights making the same signals that your vehicle's doing. more

So right here we have the Curt wiring kit, this one is the Tekonsha, and this one here is the Hopkins kit. While they're all gonna get the job done, all utilize that factory connector plug to, you know, send those signals out to your trailer, there are a few small differences. And if you we're to ask me what one I personally would put on my own vehicle, I would either say the Tekonsha or the Curt, and really, for one big reason, and that's because the length of 4-way flat wiring that you get is nice and long. more
