And it's gonna give you a very nice way of having a nice little windshield wiper blade, make sure that you have no trouble seeing out of your windshield, whether it be heavy rain or a little bit snow, anything like that, we're gonna have a decent job of clearing through. Now, guys, these can be a nice little way of just replacing your older windshield wiper blades that might not be quite doing the job, leaving streaks, not cleaning up that rain water debris that might be in your way and just going ahead and getting them replaced without having to break the bank to do so. Now I've had a couple of these on my Ford Explorer for awhile and they've done a very good job of holding up. I haven't had too much issue with them and they do do a very good job of staying conformed to that windshield. Now, you can of course find some more premium blades out there but these are definitely going to do the trick. more

In our 2016 Ford Explorer, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the ClearPlus Intelli Curve windshield wiper blades. This is what our ClearPlus windshield wiper blades look like when they're installed. These are gonna be all-weather hybrid-style blades that are gonna help keep your windshield clean of rain, snow, and ice, to give you a much safer ride during those conditions. Each wiper blade is gonna have a wraparound rubber coating, or shield, if you will, with a spoiler on it, not only is it gonna cover your metal components inside on the blade, but it's also gonna reduce how much snow and ice builds up. The squeegee, there's gonna be a compression molded rubber with a molybdenum coating that's gonna prevent chatter and skipping. Our flexible outside shell, with our flex points across the center of the blade, is gonna give it some more evenly distributed pressure across the blade, giving us more contact between our blade and our glass. more

What's going to set these apart from other types of windshield wiper blades is, it's actually going to have two blades on it. Each one of the blades are going to be having nano graphite covering them so, that helps the blade run across the windshield smooth, helps resist any skipping or chattering, but not only that, we look at each blade, the edge has little knots on it. And what this does, is as a windshield goes one way or the other, that allows the blade to help scrub off any bug debris, anything like that, that may be stuck on the windshield that a typical windshield wiper will not be able to get off. more

So we're getting about four little bridges here to actually push down on our wiper blade, so it's gonna give you pretty good coverage as we go across our windshield like so. With a single blade, it's gonna do a pretty good action of just getting that rain off of our windshield. more

A lot of times if you buy the cheaper ones, they tend to chatter. So if your windshield is dry, you got a really light mist rain, and it dries your windshield pretty quick. What happens is the windshield wiper will bounce on the windshield and it gets annoying. And basically the thing is like, "Well, what's going to work What's going to be the best thing" If you're kind of looking for a middle-of-the-road, good, reliable blade without spending a ton of money, Rain-X is a pretty good choice to make. Also, with having that water-repellent coating, that's really nice to help the water to just bead off and move away from the glass pretty easily. Now, that coating doesn't last forever. It lasts for about the first couple of months that you have it. more

So it gives you a really nice sleek contour against the glass but also gives you the pressure points of the frame style, so kind of the best of both worlds.Now, when it comes to wiper blades, they're really all going to do the same thing, they're going to wipe off water, they're going to help to clear out the snow from your line of visibility, but really the main thing that's going to be different between them is how long they're going to do that effectively.
