Here's what the hitch looks like installed.What's great about this hitch is that we have plenty of clearance around the receiver, so it makes this a great hitch to use with bike racks and cargo carriers. We don't have to worry about any interference with the rear fascia, and we run much less of a risk of scratching it as we're installing our accessory.Now this hitch fits nicely around our spare tire, so we can still use our spare tire if needed, without having any interference from the hitch.Compared to some other options out there, this hitch also doesn't require any cutting or trimming of the rear fascia in order for it to fit. Speaker 1: Today in our 2012 Dodge Avenger, we're gonna be installing the Curt Class One 1-1/4" Trailer Hitch Receiver. Part number C11133. This is what our hitch is gonna look like installed on our vehicle. The crossbar's gonna be hidden beneath the bumper, so you're only gonna be able to see the receiving tube, and the safety chain loops.This Class 1 1-1/4" Receiver is gonna be great for hooking up bike racks, cargo carriers, or very light towing. It uses a 1-1/2 hitch pinning clip, the loop style safety chain loops have a large opening, which will accommodate just about any size safety chain. It features a 200 pound tongue weight, which is the force going down on top of the receiver, and a 2000 pound gross trailer weight. more

Speaker 1: Today on this 2018 Dodge Durango, we'll be having a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite Class Three Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number: 75713.Here's what our hitch looks like installed. This hitch features a nice angular design, which helps conceal underneath our vehicle and it's also tucked up nice and tight against our fascia. This hitch does have a unique feature that other hitches don't offer, and that's this attachment point right here, off to the driver's side, which you can attach any of your wire harnesses to, such as your seven-way round, your four pole flat or any other wiring harness that you may need.On the side of our receiver, you'll find our industry standard five-eighth of an inch diameter hitch pinhole to secure any of our hitch-mounted accessories. Best 2011 Dodge Challenger Trailer Hitch Options- Video

Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the best custom fit trailer hitches available for the 2011 Dodge Challenger. We're going to be taking a look at two Class 3 hitches today. First we have our CURT, part number C13236. Follow that up with our Draw-Tite, part number 76145.Now there are Class 2 options available for the Challenger as well, but something that's kind of odd that we noticed is that even though the Class 2 hitch is only going to have an 1-1/4" by 1-1/4" receiver tube opening, the bottom of them tends to be lower or closer to the ground than what we get in our Class 3s. Now that's not a huge difference between the two but it can certainly help going in and out of parking garages, driveways, situations like that.Now both hitches are also going to offer a 5/8 pin hole. This is the hole you'll want to use to keep your items in place. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2018 Dodge Challenger - Curt- Video

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Dodge Challenger we're gonna take a look at and show you how to install the Curt custom fit class two trailer hitch receiver, part number is C12064. Now here in the middle we've got a receiver tube opening, this is an inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter, it's a class two hitch. You can see the nice flush reinforcement collar there.With class two hitches you'll be able to use your bike racks, up to four bikes, cargo carriers, just about any type of hitch accessory out there on the market should be available in a class two variety. You'll use the half inch diameter pin, you want to be sure you choose a class two rated accessory but it looks like there's plenty of room there if you wanted to use an anti-rattle device or even a locking hitch pin. Safety chain connection points are a rounded steel stock, should be plenty of room for any light duty trailer to get those hooks connected there.You can see it's tucked in pretty far underneath the vehicle here so running into it or bumping into really isn't gonna be a big issue for you. Now the hitch offers a 350 pound tongue weight rating, so that's the maximum downward force we can put at the receiver tube opening and it gives us a 3,500 pound gross trailer weight rating, that would be the total weight of your trailer and anything you we're to load up on it. more
