Today, on our 2010 Ford F150, we'll be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box measuring 22 cubic feet in metallic silver, part number TH636S. With a Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the Thule Sonic directly onto our load bars. With the feet hanging out of the bottom of the box, we can adjust them as needed to fit around each load bar. Once we have it set the way we like, we can then open the passenger's side of the box and use the 2 hand knobs on this side to tighten our feet around our bars. The great feature of the Thule Sonic is its ability to let you know when the feet are secured around the bar. When tightening, you'll hear a clicking noise when the feet are secured around the bar. Another great feature is its ability to open from either side of the vehicle. more

Today, on our 2007 Ford Explorer, well be test-fitting the Yakima RocketBox Pro 14 Rooftop cargo box measuring 14 cubic feet in black, part number Y07192. To begin our test-fit, well place the RocketBox directly onto the factory installed roof rack. Once we have it on, we can slide it in place to make sure that feet go around our crossbars. Well open the passenger side first and tighten the two hand ons on this side of the box to tighten our clamps around our bars. A couple important things to keep in mind while placing on your roof rack, this is a longer box. If you want to have access to your rear hatch, it would be beneficial to place your box as far forward as possible. Once we have it situated, we can open the box, take our feet and feed them through the appropriate slots making sure that they go around our crossbars. Once we have the feet in place, we can use the hand knobs to tighten them down. more

Yakima RocketBox Pro 11 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2008 Ford Escape- Video
Today on our 2008 Ford Escape, we'll be test fitting the Yakima RocketBox Pro 11 rooftop cargo box, 11 cubic feet in black, part number Y07193. With the Yakima round bar system installed on to our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing our RocketBox directly under our crossbars. Once we have it sitting on our crossbars, we can adjust the feet as necessary to go around the front and rear crossbar.They Yakima RocketBox does open from both sides, you can place it on your passenger side or your driver side of the vehicle. For our test fit today we decided to place it on the passenger side of our Escape. We'll move the key to the unlock position and press the red button to open up our rocket box. Once we have the clamps around our crossbars, we can then tighten the red hand knob which will tighten the clamp around our bar. more

Today on our 2008 Ford Escape, we'll be test fitting the Yakima RocketBox Pro 14 rooftop cargo box, 14" cubic feet, in black, part number Y07192. With the Yakima round bar roof rack system assembled onto our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing our RocketBox directly onto our crossbars. Once we have it on, we can then adjust the feet to fit around our bars. We'll open up the passenger side and tighten the two clamps on this side of the box. One of the great features of the RocketBox is its ability to open from both sides of the vehicle. We'll move to the driver side, push the red button to open the box, and we'll tighten the two remaining clamps by tightening the hand knobs on the inside of the box. more

Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2008 Ford Escape- Video
Today on our 2008 Ford Escape, we'll be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL rooftop cargo box, 22 cubic feet, in metallic silver, part number TH636S. With the Thule AeroBlade roof rack system assembled onto our vehicle, we'll begin by placing our cargo box directly onto our load bars. With the feet handing out of the bottom of the box, we'll go ahead and make sure that they go around our load bars. Once we have it situated on the vehicle the way we prefer, we can then open one side of the box to tighten the two feet on that side. We'll know that the foot is tight when the hand knob starts making a clicking noise. Now we'll come over to the passenger side of the vehicle and open the box from this side, and tighten the two remaining feet. more

Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2010 Ford Flex- Video
Today on our 2010 Ford Flex well be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box with 22 cubic feet of space, part number th636s. Well begin our test fit by placing the cargo box onto the vehicles load bars. Well unlock the box and open up the lid exposing the four knobs. After positioning the Thule Sonic where you want it on your roof, you can tighten down the knobs on the inside of the box which will close the claws tightly against the load bar. Now, one great feature of the Thule Sonic is its ability to open from either the passenger or driver side of our vehicle. In this application well open the other side of the box allowing us to easily reach in and secure the other two claws, and as you can see we can easily access the rear hatch. more

Today on our 2010 Ford Flex well be test fitting the Thule Pulse Alpine Rooftop Cargo Box, part number th613. Well begin our test fit by placing the cargo box onto the vehicles load bars. Well unlock the box and open the lid and take our four clamps to slide over top of our load bars. Well then turn the knobs to tighten down the clamps tightly against the load bars. Well then repeat these steps for all three of the other clamps. Now with our Thule Pulse Alpine secured to our Ford Flex, you can see that we can easily access the rear hatch. more

Well position the box, unlock it and open the lid. Well then take the claws and slide them through the slots over the load bars. Well then turn the knobs so the claws can clamp down tightly at the load bars. Well then repeat all these steps for all three of the other clamps.Now, you can see with the Thule Pulse secured to our Ford Flex, we can easily access the rear hatch. more

Well unlock the box and open up the lid positioning the box where wed like it onto our load bars. Well then slide the clamps over the load bars turning the knobs allowing the clamps to grip tightly against the load bar. Once weve repeated all these steps for all three of the other claws our Thule Pulse is secured to our Ford Flex, and as you can see with the box secured to our vehicle we can easily access the rear hatch. And that completes todays test fit for the Thule Pulse Medium Rooftop Cargo Box, part number th614 on our 2010 Ford Flex.. more

Thule Force Medium Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2010 Ford Flex- Video
Today on our 2010 Ford Flex, we'll be test fitting a Thule Force Medium rooftop cargo box, part number TH624. We'll begin our test fit by placing the cargo box on to the vehicles load bars. We'll unlock the box and open up the lid exposing the four knobs that control the clamps. If necessary, we'll adjust the clamps to fit the load bars spread of our vehicle.Once they have the clamps positioned over the load bars, we'll tighten them down allowing the clamps to grip tightly on to the load bars. We'll close the lid and lock them the box and open it from the other side exposing the two claws closest to the other side of the vehicle. We'll tighten on the knobs to secure the clamps. Now, the Thule Force Medium secured for our Ford Flex, you can see, we can easily gain access to the vehicles rear hatch with the cargo box secured to the vehicle. more

Thule Sonic Medium Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2010 Ford Focus- Video
Today on our 2010 Ford Focus we'll be test fitting the Thule Sonic Medium Rooftop Cargo Box, part number th634b. We'll begin our test fit by placing the cargo box onto the vehicle's load bars. After positioning the clamps to fit over top of the load bars we'll unlock the box and open the lid exposing the two closest knobs.We'll then turn the knobs to bring the clamps up around tightly against the bars. You'll know when the clamps have been fully tightened when the knobs start to make a clicking noise. We'll then close the lid and move to the other side of the vehicle where we can again unlock the box and open the lid exposing the two closest knobs.Now this double-sided opening lid also enables you to easily load and unload your cargo from either side of your vehicle. Once everything is all tightened down and secured that will complete today's test fit of the Thule Sonic Medium Rooftop Cargo Box, part number th634b on our 2010 Ford Focus. more
