Thule Force Medium Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2008 BMW X5

Today on our 2008 BMW X5, we'll be test fitting the Thule Force Medium Rooftop Cargo Box, measuring 13 cubic feet in aeroskin black, part number TH624. With the Thule Aeroblade Edge Roof Rack system assembled on to our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the Thule Force directly on to our load bars. With the feet already hanging out at the bottom of the box, we can adjust them as needed to fit around our load bars while loading. Once we have it in place, we'll open the passenger side of the box and tighten down the two clamps on this side by twisting the hand knob. One of the greatest features of this box is its ability to open from either side of the vehicle. Once we have the two clamps tight on this side, we'll move to the driver side, open the box and tighten down the two remaining clamps. more

Thule Force Medium Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2013 BMW X5

Today on our 2013 BMW X5 we'll be test fitting the Thule Force Medium Rooftop Cargo Box, 13 Cubic Feet in Aeroskin Black, part number th624. With the Thule AeroBlade Roof Rack System assembled onto our vehicle we'll begin our test fit by placing our cargo box directly onto our load bars. With the feet hanging out the bottom of the box we'll go ahead and make sure that they fit around the front and rear load bar.Once we have it positioned onto our roof rack the way we prefer we can then open one side of the cargo box and use the hand knobs attached to the feet to tighten them down. One of the great features of this cargo box is its ability to open from both sides of the vehicle. Now we'll move to the other side, open it up and use the hand knobs to tighten down the feet. With everything tight and secure our box is now installed and we're ready to start loading up our gear. When accessing our rear hatch door we can open it without it making contact with our cargo box. more
