Hi, Matt with etrailer, and today we're talking about our Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Roof Box on top of our 2024 Toyota Sienna. This is gonna be a great option for you and if you're running outta space in the back of your car, whether you have a lot of people back there already, or you already have a lot of gear back here, too, it's gonna be more ideal for your longer items. Anything like skis or that extra luggage that you don't want sitting outside of your vehicle getting wet. So let's check it out. The concern you might have, especially since a lot of Siennas do come with factory bars, is will this fit or not Well, if you look right here, we still have plenty of room to clamp on around that bar. Even though this is thinner, we still have a really snug fit. more

I'm Adam with etrailer. And today we're talking about the Yakima SkyBox NX 16 roof box on top of our 2020 Toyota Highlander. This is a great option for you if you're running outta space in the back of your car and you need to put your items somewhere else, this is a great option for you, especially if you wanna keep 'em out of the elements. The first thing we're gonna take a look at is the inside of the box. So we're gonna have to open it up using our included key and unlocking this. When I push it up, you notice it's a little stiff, but it's gonna be held in place by those hinge locks, and that's gonna allow me to keep it open without using my arms to keep it open. more

Inno Portable Rooftop Cargo Box Installation - 2021 Toyota Rav4- Video
Hey, everyone, it's Evangeline here at Etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at our small cargo quick base system for your roof, and we're gonna take a look at how it fits our 2021 Toyota RAV4. So this is part of the Inno quick base system where, as long as you get an Inno quick base, you can mount your different cargo accessories to your roof or to your hitch super quickly and easily. Now, this is gonna consist of two components where we have our quick base tray for the roof and we have our gear carry six cubic foot cargo box. So this is gonna be one of my favorite kits available here at Etrailer just because it makes for a very portable system. It does sit on the smaller sides in terms of cargo space, but that's just what you get for having something that's very easy to move around. more

Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2023 Toyota Highlander- Video
Hi, Matt with etrailer, and today we we're gonna be talkin' about the Yakima Skybox NX 16 rooftop cargo box on the 2023 Toyota Highlander. Now the Highlander does have a lot of space, especially in the back hatch area over here, but if you fill it up all the way with additional people in that third row, you might be very limited on the space. So if you're hauling any gear or luggage or camping supplies, this roof box is gonna be a great option to keep your items safe, secured, and kind of outta the way so you can fit more people in your vehicle. Now you won't be able to install the the sky box if you don't have a roof rack so always make sure you have a roof rack that is compatible with your roof box. Your sky box is gonna come with two included keys and that'll just be used to access your handle right up here just in that lock core. The nice thing about this roof box is you have two handles on each side so you can access it from either side and, to open it up, you just gotta push and you'll feel it lock in place with these hinge locks on the side. more

Today on our 2015 Toyota 4Runner we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima CBX Rooftop Cargo Box. This cargo box is huge. It's pretty big, so if you have a bigger vehicle like the 4Runner, it's gonna be a great option for you. But if you do have a smaller car, we put it on a RAV4 and it looked a little out of place because it was massive compared to a smaller compact SUV. We also have a 16 cubic foot one available as well. So it'll be a little bit shorter. more

You have 16 cubic feet of space, you have a really easy use clamping system, and you have an enclosed safe surface or space for your cargo. I have the box installed on the factory roof rack of your Toyota Highlander, but you could also install this on other roof racks if you need to put those on first. Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we'll be taking a look at how the Yakima SkyBox NX 18 roof cargo box fits on our 2014 Toyota Prius V. So if you're going on big adventures and you have a lot of cargo, you need a big box. So if you're familiar with the Yakima Sky Box design it's very versatile where you have a good amount of height for your larger cargo as well as a good amount of width or length. Now this is going to be the SkyBox NX18, so it's the larger sky box and it's new and improved, so the upgraded version and the main thing with the Toyota Prius V with me putting this box on here is I'm really surprised it fits so well. We have this large box, we have all that cargo space but I do not compromise with opening up the hatch. So we have hatch clearance and full visibility in the front. more

I'm already a huge fan of the versatility of the SkyBox, this takes that versatility and adds some ease of use features to make it easier to put onto the roof as well as to load cargo in it. So this has 16 cubic feet of space, so it's on a larger end when it comes to roof boxes. Now, does it fit our Prius v Yes, it obviously does. The one big thing that I am always thinking about when it comes to boxes on the Prius v is the hatch clearance. more

Rhino-Rack MasterFit Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2015 Toyota 4Runner- Video
Today, we'll be taking a look at our Rhino-Rack Rooftop Cargo Box, this is the MasterFit, that's 18 1/2 cubic feet, and we'll see how it fits on our 2015 Toyota 4Runner. So you have your 4Runner and you're ready for adventure, but what if you need to carry around your other sports equipment, maybe you have extra long skis or snowboards or other gear that you would rather not have to store inside your vehicle That's where the MasterFit can come in handy. So compared to some of your other boxes, this is gonna be more sleek, more low-profile, more aerodynamic, but then, you also don't have as much height for your cargo capacity. Another thing with this is when you have your extra large boxes, you'll be concerned about hatch clearance, this one just barely makes the cut, but it works. So yes, I know with your 4Runner if you need to access your hatch, you can just lower the hatch window, but what if you need to open up the hatch door So with this box isolated as far forward as it can go on the track system, the crossbars are as far forward on the raised rails as they can get, and lifting this hatch, you can see it goes all the way up, and then at the very top, it just barely touches the box, but there's no weight on it. And if you're concerned about garage clearance, measuring from the top of our roof to the top of the roof box, it is gonna add 21 1/2 inches to the top. more

Thule Roof Box Review - 2015 Toyota 4Runner- Video
Today on our 2015 Toyota 4Runner we're gonna be taking a look at the Thule Force XT Rooftop Cargo Box. The Thule Force XT is a very premium style rooftop cargo box and it is gonna be a very good looking one as well. We're gonna have the black arrow skin which has a nice little texture to it. I like that compared to the glossy just because it doesn't scratch up as easy but this is gonna be a great storage solution for all of the seasons. And this is the biggest box that we carry. The Thule roof box is gonna be designed for a lot of different stuff. more

Toyota 4Runners can carry a lot of passengers. This one is a 2015 Toyota 4Runner and we're gonna be taking a look at the Malone Profile 18 rooftop cargo box. This is gonna free up a lot of the space on the inside of your 4Runner, so you can put more people in here, put all their stuff up there, so it is a nice spacious ride. There's a couple of features that I look for in a box and one is the locks. So we do have locks on this one. You don't have to worry about buying 'em separately, they come with the kit, and it is gonna open on both sides. more

Thule Roof Box Review - 2019 Toyota RAV4- Video
Hey everybody, welcome to etrailer.com I'm Bobby and today we're taking a look at the Thule Force XT Sport Rooftop Cargo Box, here on our 2019, Toyota RAV4. So this can be a very decent way of getting some of your gear out of your vehicle and on the top of your roof, that way starts freeing up a lot of leg room, a lot more storage item for stuff you don't really primarily want on the outside of your vehicle. This can be excellent for stuff like ski's, a little bit of coolers in there, duffle bags for sure, whatever really accessories we wanna get on here, we definitely can. Now, with 11 cu ft, still a pretty decent size here, and I like how it's not taking up too much room though with our Toyota, Rav4. So, even though it is a little high-profile, sits up a little tall, it's not over, you know, dominating our entire RAV4, here. Definitely doesn't look out of place, which I do like to see. more

Yakima GrandTour Lo Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2017 Toyota RAV4- Video
Hey, everybody welcome to etrailer.com, I'm Bobby and today we're taking a look at the Yakima GrandTour Lo rooftop box here on our 2017 Toyota RAV4. So this is gonna be an excellent way of helping you manage a little bit of your cargo that you wanna bring with you, and primarily, could you find yourself skiing and snowboarding, this just might be the rooftop box for you. Why is that Well, we do have some pretty nice features here with 15 cubic feet and 165 pounds of weight capacity, and boasting enough room for up to 215 centimeter long skis and snowboards, this is gonna be a great little rooftop box for you. One thing I like about it too, pretty low profile, if you're comparing this to something like the regular GrandTour you can see, not as much room going towards the top, and really maximizing the length we have here today. So, with a 91 inch long exterior length here you can see, quite large. However, it does look pretty good here on the RAV4. more

So this is an interesting cargo box in that it's not really designed as a rooftop cargo box, you can definitely see those options here at etrailer, like the Yakima CBX, where it's a lot more aerodynamic. So this is a ladder rack cargo box, a little bit different from the rooftop cargo boxes you might've seen around. You can see it's not as aerodynamic, but it has its own special features. This one is super easy to take off and carry into your camp site. Then you have the hard shell tote to keep it on top of your vehicle when you're driving. more

Yakima CBX Solar Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2017 Toyota RAV4- Video
What's going on, everybody Adam here with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima CBX Solar Rooftop Cargo Box on our 2017 Toyota RAV4. Well, as you can see, we have a pretty large solar panel on top of the box. It's about 38 1/2 inches long by 14 inches wide, and it's gonna put out five volts. So this is awesome if you need an extra storage space for bringing your gear like your skis or your snowboards or even just your luggage for when you want to go out and have a great adventure. This has a safety lock system, so one, you can lock it in place so no one can steal the contents of your box. Also, though, if you have it unlocked you can't remove the keys. more

Yakima RocketBox Pro 14 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2013 Toyota Tacoma- Video
Today on our 2013 Toyota Tacoma, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima RocketBox Pro 14, a rooftop cargo box with 14 cubic feet of storage space in black, part number Y07192. With our Yakima Q Towers Roof Rack System already installed on the Tacoma, we'll begin our test fit by placing our cargo box directly onto our crossbars. We'll adjust our clamps so they're sitting just in front of our crossbars. We'll then slide the box rearward, being sure that all four of the lower portions of our clamp go around the underside of the bars. We'll now take a quick look to be sure we have our box centered. We can then open the passenger's side, reach in, and tighten the two red T handles located closest to us. A great feature of the RocketBox Pro 14 is its ability to open from both the passenger and driver's side. With our passenger's side secure, we'll now make our way around to the driver's side, open the box, and reach in and tighten the two handles located closest to us here. With all four of our handles tight, we're ready to load this box down with some gear and hit the road. That will complete today's test fit of the Yakima RocketBox Pro 14, part number Y07192, on our 2013 Toyota Tacoma. more

Today on our 2013 Toyota Tacoma, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima RocketBox Pro 11, a rooftop cargo box with 11 feet of storage space in black. It's part number is Y07193. With our Yakima Cue Towers roof rack system already installed on the Tacoma, we'll begin our test fit by placing our cargo box directly onto our crossbars. We'll adjust all four of our clamps so they're sitting just in front of our crossbars. We can then slide the box rearward, so all four lower halves of our clamp go around the underside of our crossbars. We can then open the passengers side, reach in and tighten the two red T-handles located closest to us. Today on our 2013 Toyota Tacoma, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box with 22 cubic feet of storage space in Metallic Silver. Its part number is TH636S. With our Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System already installed on the Tacoma, we'll begin our test fit by placing our cargo box directly onto our load bars. We've found this is the best time to get our feet in line so they'll go around our bars. With all four of our feet around our bars, we'll now open the passenger's side of the box, where we'll reach in and we're going to tighten the two knobs located closest to us. These knobs have the AcuTight system, so they're going to click whenever we have them tight enough. A great feature of the Sonic XXL is the ability to open it from the passenger and the driver's side. With the passenger's side tight, we'll now make our way around to the driver's side, open the box, and reach inside, where we'll tighten the two knobs located here. With all four of our knobs tight, we're ready to load it down with some gear and hit the road. That will complete today's test fit of the Thule Sonic XXL, part number TH636S, on our 2013 Toyota Tacoma. . more

With our Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System already installed on the Tacoma, we'll begin our test fit by placing our cargo box directly onto our load bars. This box opens from the passenger's side, so we'll want to favor this side as we install it. Take a quick look to make sure we have our box straight. We'll then open the passenger's side, reach in, and we'll find four foot packs. We're going to place one of these four foot packs through each of the slots in the bottom of the box, being sure that they go around our load bars. We can then tighten each one down. With all four of our foot packs tight and our cargo box secured to our vehicle, we're ready to load it up with some gear and hit the road. That will complete today's test fit of the Thule Pulse Large, part number TH615, on our 2013 Toyota Tacoma. more

Thule Sonic Medium Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2014 Toyota Camry- Video
Today on our 2014 Toyota Camry, we'll be test fitting the Thule Sonic Medium Rooftop Cargo Box, with 13 cubic feet of space in glossy black, part number TH634B. With the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System installed on the roof of our Camry, we'll begin our test fit by placing the cargo box up onto the vehicle's load bars. After positioning the clamps to fit over the bars, we can unlock the box and open the lid, exposing the two closest knobs. We'll then turn the knobs to tighten down the clamps around the bars. This box does feature the Accu-tight mounting hardware, which will notify you when the clamps have been fully tightened down when the knob starts to click. We'll then move to the other side of the vehicle and repeat the same process. This double sided opening lid also enables you to easily load and unload your cargo from either side of the car. Once everything is all tightened down and secured, that will complete today's test fit of the Thule Sonic Medium, part number TH634B on our 2014 Toyota Camry. more

Today on our 2014 Toyota Camry we're going to test fit the Thule Pulse Medium Rooftop Cargo Box with 14 cubic feet of space in matte black, part number TH614. With the Thule Rapid Traverse roof rack system already installed on our car, we'll go ahead and start our test fit by placing the cargo box on the rack. Now we're going to place the cargo box toward the passenger side of this vehicle because it only opens from the one side. We'll go ahead and place the feet through the slots of the box, lining it up with the bars. Once we make sure they're lined up, we'll go ahead an tighten down the knobs, and that'll secure the box onto the rack. We can go ahead and close the box, and we're ready to go. more

Today on our 2014 Toyota Camry we will test fit the Thule Pulse Alpine Rooftop Cargo Box with 11 cubic feet of space in matte black, part number TH613. With the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack already fitted to our vehicle we'll begin by placing the cargo box onto the roof rack. Since this box only opens from one side we're going to place it closer towards the passenger side. With the box set in place we're going to go ahead and open it, grab the feet from inside the box and slide them through the slots. With the feet hanging through the slots we're going to ensure that they fit around the bars. We'll then reach in, tighten the knobs and secure the feet to the bars. With that our cargo box is ready to go. That concludes today's test fit of the Thule Pulse Alpine Cargo Box part number TH613 on a 2014 Toyota Camry. more
