How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Thule XT Rooftop Cargo Box on our 2021 Nissan Murano. Adding a cargo box to the rooftop of your Murano is gonna help solve the issue of having limited cargo space. So something like this guy right here is gonna allow you to take advantage of that negative space to get those bigger, bulkier items out on the road with you for your adventure. As a Murano owner, you already know that your cargo space is pretty limited, so if you maxing out the back of your vehicle, adding on the roof box to the top is gonna be great, and then you can see that there's no interference with the roof box while the cargo hatch is open. Let's take a closer look at some of the features of our box. This is an extra large capacity at 22 cubic feet and it also is locking. more

Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2024 Nissan Pathfinder- Video

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline, and today we'll be taking a look at the Yakima SkyBox NX 16 and we'll see how it fits on our 2024 Nissan Pathfinder. This specific Pathfinder is going to be the Rock Creek Edition, so it has slightly different crossbars than you may be used to, but this will also work on your other trims of Pathfinders as long as they have crossbars. If you're looking to expand the cargo space on your Pathfinder, because maybe you wanna carry around some extra bags, some gears, some skis and snowboards, you also wanna make sure that that cargo is protected. Well, the Yakima SkyBox NX is one of my preferred roof boxes to recommend. This is gonna be a very versatile roof box. We have some good height for those suitcases and luggage, but you'll also have the length to carry around a lot of that cargo. more

How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Yakima 16 cubic foot SkyBox NX on our 2022 Nissan Armada. The SkyBox is gonna give you more cargo area to accommodate about three people to give you more space to carry the bigger, bulkier items that may not fit in your Armada if you're maxed out on capacity as far as passengers, and you have your third row up. This is a real good way to just maximize the space that's already available to you on the roof. The SkyBox is lockable and you're able to open it from both sides of your vehicle. And if you take a look on the inside of this guy, you can see that you have plenty of space with the clamps being almost flush. They are adjustable to meet the requirements for different types of crossbars, but just about any position that you have it on the roof, you're gonna be able to get it secured to the top pretty easily. more

Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2013 Nissan Xterra- Video

Today our 2013 Nissan Xterra we're going to be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box. With 22 cubic feet of storage space in metallic silver it's part number TH636S. With our Thule Rapid Crossroads Roof Rack System already installed on the Xterra we're going to begin the test fit by placing the cargo box directly onto our load bars. We've found this is the best time to get our feet in line to where they'll go around our bars. With our box centered on all four of our feet around our bars we'll now open the passenger side where we'll reach in and tighten the two knobs closest to us. The Sonic XXL is designed with foot packs that will click when you have them tight enough. A great feature of the Thule Sonic XXL is it's ability to open from the passenger and driver side. We can now move over to the driver side and repeat the same tightening process that we used for the passenger side. With all four feet tight and our box secure we're ready to load up our gear and head down the road. more

Thule Sonic Medium Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2013 Nissan Xterra- Video

Today on our 2013 Nissan Xtera we're going to be test-fitting the Thule Sonic Medium Rooftop cargo box, with 13 cubic feet of storage space in gloss black, it's part number TH634B. With our Touly Rapid Crossroads roof rack system already installed on the Xtera we're going to begin our test fit by placing the cargo box directly onto our load bars. We found this is the best time to line up our feet as we slide it on. With all four of our feet around our load bars we'll now open the passenger side of the box, reach in, and tighten the two foot tacks located closest to us. The Sonic is equipped with the knobs that will click when you have them tight enough. Once they click move onto the next one. With both knobs on the passenger side tight let's now move around to the driver's side. We'll open the box and repeat the same tightening process that we used on the passenger side. With all four of our feet tight, it's time to load up the gear and hit the road. more

We can now make our way around to the driver side, open the box, reach in, tighten the handles located on this side and just like that we're ready to load up our gear and hit the road. Today on our 2013 Nissan Xterra we're going to be test fitting the Thule Force XXL rooftop cargo box. With 21 cubic feet of storage space in AeroSkin black its part number is TH626. With our Thule Rapid CrossRoads Roof Rack system already mounted onto the Xterra we're going to begin our test fit by placing our cargo box directly onto our load bars. We've found this is the best time to line up our feet as we place it on. With all 4 feet going around our load bars, we'll open up the passenger side of the box. We'll reach in and tie it in the 2 knobs closest to us to secure this side of the box to our bars. One of the great features of the Force XXL is it's ability to open from both sides. We can now make our way around to the driver's side, open the box, and tighten the 2 feet on this side. With all 4 feet tight our box is secured to our load bars and we're ready to hit the road. As you can see, we have full access into our rear hatch. That will complete today's test fit of the Thule Force XXL, part number TH626, on our 2013 Nissan Xterra. . more

We'll then tighten down the knobs, which will bring the clamps tightly around the load bars. This box does feature their AcuTight mounting hardware which will notify us when the clamps have been fully tightened when the knob starts to click. We'll then move to the other side of the vehicle and repeat the same process. Once everything is all tightened down and secured I'm going to move to the back of the Rogue, open up the rear hatch. more

Today on our 2014 Nissan Rogue well be test fitting the Thule Pule Large Roof Top Cargo Box with 16 cubic feet of space, matte black in color, part number TH615. With a Thule Rapid Crossroads Roof Rack installed onto our roof, well begin our test fit by placing the cargo box directly onto our vehicles load bars. Now, this box does only open from one side, so youll need to position it on the passenger side of your roof. With the box in place, we can unlock it and open the lid, exposing the four slots in the bottom of the box. Ill take the clamps and slide them down through the slots, over the top of each bar, and then Ill turn the knobs and tighten down the clamps up against the bars. Once everything is all tightened down and secured, Ill move to the back of the car and open up the rear hatch. You can see that the rear hatch does not come in contact with the back of the box. Thatll complete todays test fit of the Thule Pulse Large, part number TH615, on our 2014 Nissan Rogue. more

Since this box only opens from one side you'll need to position it on the passenger side of your roof. With the box in place we can unlock it and open the lid exposing the four slots in the bottom of the box. We can then take the clamps, slide them down through the slots over top of each bar, and then turn the knobs to tighten down the clamps. Once everything is all tightened down and secured I'll move to the back of the Rogue and open up the rear hatch. As you can see, the rear hatch does not come into contact with the back of the box. more

Today, on our 2014 Nissan Rouge, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Force Large rooftop cargo box with 13 cubic feet of space, Aero Skin, black in color, part number TH624. With the Thule Rapid Crossroads roof rack system installed onto our Rouge, we'll begin our test fit by placing the cargo box up onto the vehicle's load bars. After positioning the clamps to fit over the bars, we can unlock the box and open the lid exposing the two closest knobs. We'll then turn the knobs which will tighten down the clamps up against the bars. By this double sided opening lid also enables you to easily load and unload your cargo from either side of the car. After moving to the other side of the vehicle, we'll repeat the same process. Once everything is all tightened down and secured, we'll move to the back of the Rouge and open up the rear hatch. more

With the feet hanging out of the bottom of the box we can adjust them as necessary to fit around each bar. We'll open the passenger side of the box and tighten the two hands knobs on this side to secure our feet around our bars. One of the great features of the Thule Sonic is its ability to let you know when the feet are secure. When tightening you'll hear a clicking noise to let you know that it's secure around the bar. Another great feature is its ability to open from either side of the vehicle. We'll move to the driver's side, open the box, and tighten down the two remaining feet using the hand knobs till we hear that clicking noise. With all four feet tight our box is secured and we're ready to go. Here at the rear you can see that we have full access to our rear hatch door without it making contact with our box. Also, our box does not interfere with our rear antenna. That completes today's test fit of the Thule Sonic Medium Rooftop Cargo Box, part number TH634B on our 2013 Nissan Rogue. more

After positioning the clamps to fit over the bars, we can unlock the box and open the lid, exposing the two closest knobs. We can then turn the knobs to put in the clamps up around tightly against the bars. You'll notice when the clamps have been fully tightened down when the knobs start to make a clicking sound. We can then move to the other side of the vehicle and repeat the same process. When positioning the box on the vehicle, it does only open from one side, so you'll need to position it on the passenger side of your vehicle. We can then unlock the box and open the lid, exposing the 4 slots in the bottom of the box. We can take the clamps, slide them down through the slots over top of each bar, and turn the knobs to tighten down the clamps up against the front and rear bar. Once everything is all tightened down and secured, that will complete today's test fit for the Thule Pulse Large rooftop cargo box, with 16 cubic feet of space, mat black in color, part number TH615, on our 2008 Nissan sentra. more

Today on our 2012 Nissan Xterra, we'll be test fitting the Thule Pulse Large rooftop cargo box measuring 16 cubic feet in matte black, part number TH615. Keep in mind that this box opens from one side only, so we'll be setting it towards the passenger's side for easier accessibility. With the Thule Rapid Crossroad roof rack system on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing our box directly onto our load bars. We'll move the key to the unlock position and push up on the lid to open it. We'll grab the feet and place them through the appropriate slots, making sure the claws of each foot go around the bars.Once we have those in place, we can then use theattached hand knobs to tighten them down.
