Yakima RocketBox Pro 14 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2014 Dodge Avenger- Video
Today on our 2014 Dodge Avenger, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima Rocketbox Pro 14, a roof-top cargo box with 14 cubic feet of storage space in black, part number Y07192. With our Rhino Rack 2500 series roof rack already installed on the Avenger, we're going to begin our test fit by placing the cargo box directly onto our cross bars. We'll slide it back and adjust it so we have all four lower halves of our clamp going around the underside of our bars. We'll then take a quick look to be sure we have it centered on our vehicle and we'll open the passenger side of the box. Here we'll reach in, tighten the two red "T" handles located closest to us. One of the great features of the Rocketbox Pro, is its ability to open from the passenger and driver side. We'll now close the passenger side and move around to the driver's side, open it, and tighten the two handles closest to us here. Just like that, we're ready to load it down with gear and hit the road. That will complete today's test fit of the Yakima Rocketbox Pro 14, part number Y07192, on our 2014 Dodge Avenger. more

Today on our 2014 Dodge Avenger, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima Rocketbox Pro 11, a roof-top cargo box with 11 cubic feet of storage in black. It's part number Y07193. With our Rhino rack 2500 series roof rack already installed on the Avenger, we're going to begin our test fit by placing the cargo box directly onto our cross bars. We'll slide it back to be sure that the lower half of our clamp is going around the underside of our bars. With all four of the lower halves of our clamp going around the underside of our bars, we can open the passenger side of the box, reach in where we're going to tighten the two red "T" handles. One of the great features of the Rocketbox Pro 11 is its ability to open from the passenger and driver side. We'll close the passenger side, make our way to the driver's side where we can reach in and tighten the two handles located here. We'll take a quick look to be sure have our box centered, then we'll open the passenger's side, reach inside, and we'll tighten the 2 foot packs closest to us. The foot pack is designed to click when you have it tight enough. One the great features of the Thule Sonic is it's ability to open from the passenger's side and the driver's side. We'll now make our way around to the driver's side, open the box and we can tighten the 2 foot packs closest to us here until they click. Just like that, we're ready to load up with gear and head down the road. more

Today, on our 2014 Dodge Avenger, we're going to be test fitting the Rhino Rack Master fit roof top cargo box. With 14 cubic feet of storage space, in silver, it's part number RMF400. With our Rhino Rack 2500 roof rack already installed on the Avenger, we're going to begin our test fit by placing the cargo box directly onto our crossbars. We'll take a quick look to be sure we have the box centered on our vehicle. We'll then open the passenger side, where we'll reach inside, grab two of the foot packs, place them through the appropriate slots in the bottom of the box, and make sure that they ago around our crossbars. We can then secure them in place by tightening the gray knobs. Once we have them secure, we can press down on the red lever to hold them in place. more

We'll then unlock the box to open it up and turn the black knobs to adjust the claws to fit the crossbar spread of the vehicle.We can then turn the red T-handles to clamp down the jaws onto the crossbars securing the RocketBox to the vehicle. Well then unlock the box, open it up and loosen up the black knobs to adjust the claws to fit the crossbar spread of our vehicle. Well then tighten down the red T-handles and tighten down the clamps to secure the cargo box to the vehicles crossbars. Now with the Yakima RocketBox secured to our Dodge Grand Caravan, you can see that we can gain full access to the vehicles cargo area. Another great feature of the Yakima RocketBox is its ability to open from both sides of the vehicle to easily unload and load up your cargo. more

Thule Pulse Alpine Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan- Video
Today on our 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan, we'll be test fitting the Thule Pulse Alpine rooftop cargo box, with 11 cubic feet of space, matte black in color, part number TH613. Now with our vehicle already equipped with the factory roof rack system, we'll begin our test fit by placing the cargo box onto the vehicle's crossbars. We'll position the box onto the vehicle, unlock the box to open up the lid to expose the four knobs on the bottom part of the box. We'll then turn the knobs to tighten down the claws against the factory crossbars. Note that you may need to adjust the claws to fit the vehicle's crossbar spread. Once all the claws are tightened down, the Thule Pulse Alpine is secured to our Dodge Grand Caravan. more

Today on our 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan we'll be test fitting the Thule Pulse Medium Rooftop Cargo Box with 14 Cubic Feet of Space, matte black in color, part number th614. Now with our vehicle already equipped with factory roof rack system we'll begin our test fit by placing the cargo box onto the vehicle's crossbars.Note that you may need to adjust the claws to fit the crossbar spread. We'll then unlock the box to open the lid exposing the four knobs at the head of the claws. We'll then turn the knobs at the head of the claws. We'll then turn the knobs to tighten down the claws to secure the cargo box to the vehicle's crossbars.Note since this cargo box only opens from one side you may need a ladder or large step stool to reach to the furthest two of the knobs. Now one great feature of the Thule Pulse Large is your ability to have full access to the cargo area of our vehicle with the cargo box installed. more

Yakima RocketBox Pro 11 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2013 Dodge Ram Pickup- Video
Today on our 2013 Dodge Ram Pickup we'll be test fitting the Yakima RocketBox Rooftop Cargo Box 11 cubic feet in black, part number Y07193. For easiest installation, it would be best to pre-measure your crossbar distance and then set your mounting brackets with the RocketBox according to that distance. With the Whispbar Roof Rack System assembled and mounted onto our vehicle, we'll begin by placing our RocketBox directly onto our crossbars. Once we have it situated, we can make sure that the feet hanging out of the bottom go around our crossbars. With all of our clamps around the appropriate crossbars, we'll then use the hand knobs on the inside of the box to tighten down each clamp. Once we have all four clamps tight, we then close the box, move our key to the locking position, and we're ready to go. more

One of the neat features of the RocketBox is its ability to open from both sides. With the Whispbar Roof Rack System installed on our vehicle, we'll begin by placing our RocketBox directly onto our crossbars. Once we have it on, we can make sure that the feet go around our crossbars. We'll open the passenger side of the box and use the hand knobs on the inside to tighten down the two feet on this side. We'll move to the other side, open it up, and tighten the two remaining feet. more

To install the product, begin by placing the cargo carrier on your load bars and centering it in line with your vehicle. Make sure the key is in the unlocked position and then open up your cargo carrier. With the clamps around your load bars, you can go ahead and tighten your clamps by using the easy grip mounting clamps. Tighten the clamps by twisting the grey knobs inside the cargo carrier. Close your cargo carrier and put the key back in the lock position and youre ready to hit the road. more
