And if you guys are starting to have trouble with the windshield wiper blades actually doing a good job of cleaning off that rain or snow or any of those other issues you might have. This can be a quick little upgrade for ourselves to make sure we are getting good contacts all across our windshield. Now these blades do offer a couple of unique designs that you'll really like. Taking a look at the outer housing, you're gonna see that we have these kind of independent hinges throughout it. So you can see we have a longer one here going down to that middle section and tapering off to that smaller end. more

Hey everyone Shane here with etrailer.com. Today I have a 2018 Chevrolet volt. I want to walk through how to install Scrubblade windshield wiper blades. What's going to set these apart from other types of windshield wiper blades is, it's actually going to have two blades on it. Each one of the blades are going to be having nano graphite covering them so, that helps the blade run across the windshield smooth, helps resist any skipping or chattering, but not only that, we look at each blade, the edge has little knots on it. And what this does, is as a windshield goes one way or the other, that allows the blade to help scrub off any bug debris, anything like that, that may be stuck on the windshield that a typical windshield wiper will not be able to get off. more

One big thing I like about it is, you are getting your entirety of your blade covered by this nice little rubber cover. It is doing a good job of kind of pressing on the blade, as you can see, it is kind of pushing down on the corners, that way, we're gonna have a nice smooth coverage cross the entirety of our windshield. more

Now, if you're starting to have trouble with your windshield wiper blades, actually starting to clear off rain or any kind of debris or bug guts, I think this is going to be an excellent option to get it replaced. Now, not only are you getting a nice contour that's going to get across the entirety of the windshield, you also are getting two, very distinct blades. What's great about that There are nano graphite covers so they are going to hold up for a long time. But that dual blade action is doing a great job of: A, Just get a good sweep on that debris that is on our windshield, like bug guts or anything else like that, but also, that second blade is left to be clean to get all that rain with no problem. more

Now, if you're looking for a lot of points of contact on your blade, this is going to give you a nice, smooth clean non streak sweep across our windshield. Now, if you take a look at the blade itself, you can see how this housing actually works. We have a nice plastic covering on the outside, but as well as you can see we actually have these kind of hinged panels here. And you see, that's actually given it a lot of different points of contact. So you're getting eight points of contact throughout the entirety of the blade. more

Now when we're looking for different wiper blades, we're looking for replacement wiper blades, sometimes we'll go and pick up the cheaper ones, which they work for a little bit, but they tend to skip across the windshield or as soon as the wind hits them, they'll lift up or they flex and then you're getting a streak across the windshield because there's not enough downward pressure. So next time we go and buy a little bit more expensive ones.Well, they work for a little bit longer, but eventually they start acting like the cheaper ones. Well, the Scrubblades have changed the game, because the framing and the suspension mechanism in them is a lot stiffer. So you're getting a lot more downward pressure and each blade is going to have two blades instead of one, like your traditional wiper blades. more

So whether you're just replacing your existing wiper blades just because they aren't really getting the job done, or you plan on having an extremely brutal winter and you ended up just wanting to go with the winter version of your wiper blades, I do think these are going to get the job done. To be honest, if you're not in a climate where it's going to snow heavily, and stuff like that a lot, I don't necessarily think that the winter blades are going to be for you. These are going to be ideal for those areas to where it's going to snow a lot, you're going to have a lot of that snow that you're going to have to brush off. These are going to do a great job of getting your windshield clear of any snow or anything like that.But of course, it is still going to work with the rain that you're going to see as well, but these are mainly made for those extreme winter conditions. more

Whether it's just rain like we had during the spring and summer, or really get a heavy snow and we start to get some ice and everything building up on our windshield, our wiper blades are definitely going to help clear all that off so we can see safely.If we look at our blades, we're going to have several points like this. And this is going to allow the blade to flex, which is going to help out grabbing the windshield, going over the curves nicely, and have a really uniform wipe so we can clearly see out the windshield. more

Michelin Rear Windshield Wiper Blade Installation - 2016 Acura MDX- Video

Today you're gonna be taking a look at the Michelin rear wiper blade on our 2016 Acura MDX.Now, all MDXs are going to have that rear glass and the rear wiper blade on the back here, which is a really nice thing because when it's raining or snowing or anything gets on the back glass, we can use our wiper. Just wipe it off, and we can see clearly. However, you could see ours here, it's actually torn, so it's really not doing a good job anymore. It's only wiping part of the window, which is more annoying than not being able to see at all, so we're going to go and be replacing this.A lot of people are kind of unsure of how to remove these. This one is completely new, looks pretty factory, and it's also a little bit shorter. So we do sacrifice a little bit on the overall wipe that we get from this, but we we're having a little interference issue with that third brake light where it would just skim over that, and then it would skip over our glass.
