Yakima CBX Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2023 Kia Seltos- Video
Hi, everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today, I have the Yakima CBX 18 Rooftop Cargo Box, and we're gonna take a look at how it fits our 2023 Kia Seltos. For your Seltos, if you want a little bit more cargo capacity, maybe you're going on a long trip, you have your friends in your car, but you also have maxed out the space in the hatch, well, you can get a rooftop cargo box to help out with that. It's gonna be an enclosed cargo carrier, which means it protects your cargo from the outside elements. And with this fitting on the Seltos, I do have the 18 cubic feet box, it actually does fit, meaning you can still open up your hatch and it doesn't cover up your window. Yakima GrandTour 18 Cubic Ft Premium Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2022 Mazda CX-9- Video
Hey everyone, Cooper here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Yakima Grand Tour 18 on our 2022 Mazda CX9. Now this is a perfect rooftop cargo box for if you wanna carry around some of those longer items maybe like skis and snowboards, or if you have the whole entire family loaded up in the CX9 and you need some additional storage space for some of that luggage, this is going to be a great option for that too. Our box is going to be made out of an ABS plastic which just means it is a little more durable as you can imagine, driving through all the elements maybe finding it in rain or hail or rocks sticking up from the highway hitting, it just means it's going to stay durable and rugged throughout all that. That being said, it does have a glossy black finish to it and glossy black finishes just really have a prone to smudges and scratches. So while the material itself is pretty durable, it might not keep that clean nice look forever. more

Today on our 2015 Toyota 4Runner we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima CBX Rooftop Cargo Box. This cargo box is huge. It's pretty big, so if you have a bigger vehicle like the 4Runner, it's gonna be a great option for you. Inno Shadow 16 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2023 Subaru Outback Wagon- Video
Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Inno Shadow rooftop box and seeing how it fits on our 2023 Subaru Outback, With 13 cubic feet of storage space inside the box and interior measurements measuring out to 72 inches long, 25 and five eighths inches wide and 11 inches tall, there's gonna be a good amount of room inside for a variety of different gear whether you wanna carry things like skis and snowboards, more long items or maybe a few duffle bags and small backpacks, camping gear, that sort of thing that's maybe a little bit taller. Overall, it's a fairly low profile box so do keep that in mind when you're loading it up. But you should be able to fit a wide variety of things. This box can open from either side of the vehicle so you have easy access whether you're having some street parking or in a parking lot where there's limited space. This is going to be a large, but also versatile roof box and it has some extra features you might be interested in. The Yakima SkyBox series are really popular roof boxes because of the types of cargo they can carry. So on a range of skis to suitcases, they're more on the suitcases scale because of the height of the roof box, while also providing a lot of cargo space. Now this is the NX series, so the NX 18 is a larger box with upgraded features like a nicer finish, a nicer clamp, and really easy-to-use mounting system. It also has its pros and cons though, so we'll talk about that in this video to see if it's right fit for you, your vehicle, and whatever you're carrying. more

The NX18 is a good pairing for the Yukon because it's a big box for a big car. So this is very versatile where you have a lot of height for larger bags and suitcases. We also have a lot of length for your longer skis. With this being the 18, it's a larger box in the Sky Box NX series and it's a good fit for the Yukon as well with the length because I didn't have to do anything special but we still have clearance with the back hatch and a lot of space up front. more

Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we'll be taking a look at how the Yakima SkyBox NX 18 roof cargo box fits on our 2014 Toyota Prius V. So if you're going on big adventures and you have a lot of cargo, you need a big box. So if you're familiar with the Yakima Sky Box design it's very versatile where you have a good amount of height for your larger cargo as well as a good amount of width or length. Now this is going to be the SkyBox NX18, so it's the larger sky box and it's new and improved, so the upgraded version and the main thing with the Toyota Prius V with me putting this box on here is I'm really surprised it fits so well. We have this large box, we have all that cargo space but I do not compromise with opening up the hatch. So we have hatch clearance and full visibility in the front. more

So one thing I do wanna note is that this roof box does work with your factory bars. That's how we have it installed today. You can totally use it with aftermarket crossbars if you have those too. But since your Outback probably is gonna come with factory raised rails and these factory crossbars it is important to know that it fits because a lot of crossbars from the factory are a lot thinner and sometimes don't work with as many accessories. more

Inno Shadow 16 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2022 Subaru Outback Wagon- Video
Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Inno Shadow 16 Rooftop box and seeing how it fits on the top of our 2022 Subaru Outback. So I do wanna point out right away that we are using this with factory crossbars. That's pretty important to note because sometimes factory crossbars will have a lower weight capacity than aftermarket ones and generally they're gonna be a lot smaller, so fitting certain accessories is going to be a bit more difficult. So if something works with factory crossbars which a lot of these Subarus have, it's good to know because you wanna make sure the accessory you're looking at works with those. Now it's gonna work just fine with aftermarket crossbars too, pretty much anything will but with these ones you wanna know that it's working with those. more

I'm already a huge fan of the versatility of the SkyBox, this takes that versatility and adds some ease of use features to make it easier to put onto the roof as well as to load cargo in it. So this has 16 cubic feet of space, so it's on a larger end when it comes to roof boxes. Now, does it fit our Prius v Yes, it obviously does. The one big thing that I am always thinking about when it comes to boxes on the Prius v is the hatch clearance. more

Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Rooftop Cargo Box and how it fits on our 2021 Volkswagen Atlas. So with the Atlas, we have a decent amount of storage in the back, but maybe you're looking to get some longer or maybe some messier items, something like a golf bag, skis and snowboards, or just anything that you don't wanna keep inside your vehicle, you'd rather get it up on the roof and protect it at the same time, this is a great way to do that, so let's check out how it works. The box is able to fit up to 16 feet of cubic storage, or the way that we phrase it, is up to three people's worth of stuff, and it's going to add on, at its highest point, 16 inches of height onto your overall system. That's the number you gonna wanna keep in mind as far as, "Can I sore this in my garage Do I need to take it off when I'm not using it" Or if there might be any clearance issues elsewhere. Also, the box itself weighs 48 pounds, so factoring that in and keeping account of your crossbars, your feet, and your roof rating, in the case of the Atlas, we found that that number is 200, so we wanna make sure that with the box, everything we're loading up inside, we wanna keep it under that number. more

Inno Roof Box Review - 2018 Nissan Rogue- Video
Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we'll be taking a look at how the Inno Shadow 16 Rooftop cargo box fits on the 2018 Nissan Rogue. This is gonna be a 13 cubic feet rooftop cargo box, I really like some of its features, like how easy it is to open and get access inside, although the clamps can be a little tricky compared to some other boxes, but with how this fits on the Nissan Rogue, I think it's a really good fit especially when it comes to the length of the box. So the whole box is gonna be 78 inches and three quarter inches long, which is a pretty long box, fit for cargo, different shapes and sizes but the main thing is, can you open up your hatch Well, with where we have this installed, we still have full access to our hatch even though there's a teeny tiny gap I left right behind there to fully max out that length. So this gives you access to your storage space of your vehicle, but also the storage space of the box. Notice where we have the box mounted to the crossbars, if you have a Nissan Rogue with raised rails, you can just move those rails back and, or the crossbars back and forth to get the best fit, in this case here you also have the ability to slide the box back and forth to fit on the rails. The tracks underneath there is a lot, so no matter what you could get, definitely get it into the right spot on your Rogue. more

With the Suburban, you have a lot of storage in the back, but if you get it full of people, items, and things like that add up pretty quick. If you want a way to get some longer items, maybe some skis, snowboards, golf bags, whatever have you, maybe even just some items that might be muddy, sandy, dirty, anything you don't wanna store in your vehicle, a rooftop cargo box like this is a great way to get them up on your roof and keep them protected at the same time. more

Inno Shadow 16 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2019 Honda Odyssey- Video
Hi, everyone. It's Evangeline here at Etrailer and today, we'll be taking a look at how the Inno Shadow 16 rooftop cargo box fits on a 2019 Honda Odyssey. So, if you're looking for a little bit of extra space for your Honda Odyssey, a rooftop cargo box is a great way to achieve that. There are some downsides though, like here, we have the factory roof rack, so we can't really get it onto any overhang. Ideally, you just center it onto your roof, which does make it a little tricky to get into. Now, the perks though is you can still open up your hatch and get full access into the back with this box on your roof. more

This is gonna be a relatively low profile rooftop box to carry some extra stuff with you on your trips. Let's check it out, with this box you're gonna get nine cubic feet of storage space. Now, nine cubic feet doesn't really mean a whole lot to me. It's really gonna depend on the shape of the box as well. more

So roof box is a good option if you want to carry some extra stuff with you on your trip. With the Maverick, obviously you've got some of the bed space in the back but it's not the biggest thing in the world. And if it's uncovered, you don't have a tonneau cover maybe we don't wanna leave some things out in the open. more

Now a roof box is gonna be a great way to get some extra stuff with you on your trip so you don't have to carry it in your vehicle. In particular, this kind of roof box where it's a bit lower and longer is gonna lend itself pretty well to things like skis and snowboards. I will say this one's quite a bit shorter than most other rooftop boxes I've worked with and maybe not as long. more

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at eTrailer and today we'll be taking a look at the Inno Wedge 660 Rooftop Cargo Box. This is gonna be a sleek and aerodynamic box, great for increasing your cargo space for greater adventures. So this is gonna be ideal for if you need to carry around some skis, some snowboards, or even your smaller surfboards. If you don't have space for that inside of your SUV, your compact vehicle or your wagon, you can add this box on top of your roof rack, to free up that space. Now there's some pros and cons to this as well. As great as it is, for longer items like skis, if you have larger bags, not gonna fit as well into this box. more

Hey it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Rhino Rack Master Fit Rooftop Cargo Box and how it fits on a 2023 GMC Yukon XL. The roof box like this one might be a good option for you if you have some larger items that you can't, that you don't have room for, or they might just be a little bit messy and you don't want them in your vehicle. You can get 'em on top and you can keep 'em protected from your elements and things like skis and snowboards or any of your gear that you don't want in your car and you want safe on top. This rooftop box has a weight capacity of 165 pounds which conveniently matches our roof rack system but you definitely wanna keep that in mind that your crossbars feet and roof all have different weight ratings. So make sure you go by the lowest rated component. more

Rhino-Rack MasterFit Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L- Video
Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Rhino Rack Master Fit Rooftop Box on top of our 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. As far as the Master Fit goes, this is actually the smaller version of the box. They make one that's a little bit bigger that I think would be a great fit on this vehicle as well, but this one's gonna be 15 and a half cubic feet of storage space and it's got exterior dimensions of 75 inches long, 32 inches wide, and 16 inches tall. Inno Roof Box Review - 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L- Video
Hi everyone, Aidan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Inno Wedge 660 Rooftop Box on the top of our 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. Now, right away, you're probably noticing the color match on the box to the vehicle. That's something that's pretty unique about this particular box is the fact that you've got choices for the different colors. We've got it in white right now, but you can also get it in black, both of them are gonna have the same 11 cubic feet of capacity inside and have the same features, just offer you that nice different look to color match to your vehicle if you want it to, and I think it works really well in this application. It's got an ABS plastic construction, which is very normal for a rooftop box, but it has an acrylic top layer that helps it really match the shine of the paint color on our vehicle, so it looks like it really belongs. more
