Hey, guys. It's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2023 Ford F-150, and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install, the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs. Now before we jump into too many of the details about these airbags, let's go ahead and look at some before footage of hooking up a dump trailer to the back of our truck to see what that trailer does to this truck. You can obviously see we have a lift on our truck here, so the suspension in the back is quite a bit softer. They are adjustable shocks, but they have them adjusted softer so that it's a more comfortable ride. more

Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at installing the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 rear air helper bags on a 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. Today's trucks seem like comfort seems to take over the role instead of to towing capacity when it comes to suspension, and that's 'cause a lot of people daily drive their trucks. But if you're doing truck things, like pulling a trailer or putting a payload in your truck, that's when you really start to notice that suspension, you can handle it, but it does want to sag quite a bit. A lot of that just comes down to the factory jounce bumpers being really short. So these normally bolts up on the frame, and the jounce strike plate is down here. So that leaves a huge gap for these to compress before bottoming out. more

Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System Installation - 2023 Honda Odyssey- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement on a 2023 Honda Odyssey. Adding suspension enhancement to a minivan is something that a lot of people don't think about until you start to tow with one or have heavy loads in it and then all of a sudden the suspension really isn't made to have all that weight a lot of times. Or even if it is, it's not able to really utilize its full range of motion because the vehicle is going to sag. And partly it's because your jounce bumpers are just designed for comfort and that's a good thing. But when you're using it for towing that trailer or loading up the back of it, that's when you really start to feel that sag. And it's not just the vehicle sagging in the back that causes issues. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at installing the Timbren rear suspension enhancement for the rear axle on 2022 Toyota Tundra. Adding rear suspension enhancement to any truck is a great idea, especially if you plan on putting some payload in the bed or having trailers that you tow regularly. A lot of trucks today are designed with comfort in mind. They become daily drivers for a lot of people and that's totally fine, but when you start to tow, sometimes you're gonna notice that void for comfort when it starts to sag. And that's not necessarily that it's going to overwork your truck. But if you wanna supplement it and give it the best help that it can when it comes to supplementing your suspension, and just making your truck feel a little bit tougher while it tows, this is a great option to do that. more

Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Rear Air Helper Springs Installation - 2024 GMC Sierra 2500- Video
Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Airbags. These air helper springs are more commonly known as airbags are going to mount between the frame of your vehicle and the top of your axle. And what they're designed to do is they will help to support the rear end of your truck when hauling a heavy load in the bed or on the hitch. These air helper strings are going to have a load carrying capacity of 5,000 pounds and a PSI rating of a maximum of 100 PSI. Now these specific airbags are going to be able to, you can air them down to zero because they have an internal jounce bumper. more

This is how the air springs are gonna look like installed on your truck. And the concept on how they're gonna work is really simple. Air Lift Ride Control Air Helper Springs Installation - 2018 GMC Sierra 1500- Video
Hey, guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install our Air Lift Air Control Air Helper Springs on our 2018 GMC Sierra 1500. These air helper springs, or more commonly known as air bags, are going to mount to the side of your frame rail and in already pre-existing holes into the top of your leaf spring pack. And essentially what they're designed to do is to help limit the travel of your suspension. Whenever you're hooking up to a trailer or hauling a heavy load in the bed of your truck, the air bag's gonna take some of the weight so that your truck doesn't have to squat so bad and you can get the front end of your truck back on the ground, your headlights will be back, pointed at the road. A lot of times when people are towing super heavy things with 1500s, because they're built more for comfort than a 2500 or a 3500, they can tend to squat a lot in the back, and that's what these are designed to help with. more

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look together at these Timbren Active Off-Road Bumpstops for your rear axle. Now, these bumpstops have been designed to fit your 2015 and newer Ford F-150, both two and four wheel drive models, and on custom fit parts such as these bumpstops, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide. Simply input the year, make, and model of your vehicle and our fit guide will confirm if this kit will work for you or if we have something comfortable that will work for you. Now, these off-road bumpstops have a capacity of 7,000 pounds and they are going to give you greater control over your Ford's suspension travel.
