Is a Universal Battery Charger Needed When Using Brake Buddy While Flat Towing 2010 Ford Edge

flat towing with a brake buddy rvi 2 Will it drain the battery or do I need to install a universal batt charger to keep batt charged while towing 2010 ford edge

Ford recommends that when flat towing the 2010 Ford Edge to start the engine at the beginning of each day as well as at all fuel stops and allow the engine to run for five minutes. If this recommendation is followed there shouldn't be a need to install a battery charger when flat towing your Edge and using the BrakeBuddy system.
