B and W Slider Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation for a 2003 Ford F-150
Question:
I just bought a 2003 f150 super crew with a 6.5 ft bed. I know clearance for nose of trailer can be resolved with b and w products. Will a b and w hitch for a 6.5 fit? Will any drilling be required other than in the bed? Thanks.

Yes, the B and W Companion hitch with slider part # BWRVK3400-5W would give you enough clearance to make sharp turns when installed in the bed of your 2003 Ford F-150. When you need to make a tight turn you will need to slide the hitch back into the maneuver mode and you will have the clearance to make sharp turns. Once you are out of the parking lot and are driving on roads you will need to slide the hitch back up into tow mode.
The correct rail kit would be the # BWGNRK1197 that you referenced.
