How to Upgrade from a 16k Fifth Wheel Hitch to a 20k Hitch

I have a 16,000 pound dual jaw hitch can I change the hitch to a 20,000 lb just by changing hitch?

Yes, as long as you have a set of industry standard rails in the bed of your truck (see pic for more info), all you would need to upgrade to a 20k plus would be to replace your current hitch with one like the Reese 20k Fifth Wheel Hitch part # RP30033 that you referenced.
