Troubleshooting Tekonsha Voyager that Wont Light Up Green After Releasing Brakes
Question:
voyager brake controller leveling problem. its mounted ok but when i mash truck brake and turn level knob til its gets orange, it wont go back to green when i let up on brake padal. light is green until i level it. truck and trailer on level ground . used it on last trailer for one year and last year on this traielr but when i hooked up for first time in 5 months the problem arose. i was making sure it was set right for upcoming trip.

The light should go back to green once the brakes and manual override lever are released. Since yours isn't that would indicate to me that the problem is in the stoplight switch circuit.
You will want to check the red wire from the controller for voltage when the brakes are applied and make sure there is none when released. A circuit tester like part # PTW2993 would be recommended for this.
If the voltage checks out ok and the controller is leveled properly that would indicate that the controller has an internal problem and would need to be replaced.
