For your 2014 Dodge Ram 3500 Pickup I recommend the Reese Fifth Wheel Installation Kit, part # RP56010-53. This is a custom installation that will cut the installation time in half when compared to universal installation kits. The custom brackets mount to the existing holes in the frame of your truck and minimize cutting and drilling and measuring. This kit includes under-bed brackets, installation hardware and industry-standard base rails that will work with hitches from Curt, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, Husky, Reese and Valley.
If your Ram has a long bed the edge of the rail closest to the tailgate should measure 30-1/8 inches from the back edge of the bed(not including the tailgate). If you have a short bed that dimension is 28-1/8 inches.
The installation kit, part # RP30035 is not designed as a fit for your truck.
