We have hitches that would work on your 2012 Ford Focus as well as cargo carriers, but the issue you will have is that no cargo carrier setup will allow you to carry more than 200 lbs of tongue weight on your vehicle. For a hitch you would want the Curt Hitch part # C11158 and then for a cargo carrier you could use the Curt Carrier part # C18110.

This carrier weighs 30 lbs so you would be left with 170 lbs of tongue weight left for cargo which may not be enough but aside from using a small trailer this would be your best option.

If you went with a towing setup you would want the part # 118548 for wiring, # 3593 for a ball mount, # 19258 for a 2 inch ball, and # 19256 for a hitch ball.
