Can I Splice into My Gooseneck Trailer Wiring to Add a Brake Controller Wire on my Bumper 7-Way
Question:
I have a goose neck hook up in the bed of my truck and I was wondering if I could splice into that electric brake wire for the plug in the bed and run it to my bumper hook up?

I do not see a reason why you would not be able to. Just make sure you use a circuit tester, like part # PTW2993, to make sure you have the proper wire. You will have 3 wires that will go hot when you press the brake pedal. One will be the brake controller output wire, the other will be the right turn and brake light wire, and the third is the left turn and brake light wire. Find all three wires, then use your blinkers to determine which two are for turn signals. The one that does not work on blinkers should be your brake controller output wire.
