4-Way Trailer Wiring Harness For 1989 Honda Accord
Question:
I have a 1989 Accord, with separate brake and turn signal lights. Trying to hook to a trailer with combo turn signal / brake lights. Would your C56175 do this? Thanks,

Expert Reply:
You are correct. For your 1989 Honda Accord, the correct wiring harness would be the Curt Wiring Harness, part # C56175. The connection points for this harness are located behind the driver side tail lights. This comes with the necessary wire connectors and installation instructions.
When installing this harness I recommend a circuit tester like part # 3808 to test the wires on your Accord.
When working with electrical connectors I recommend using dielectric grease like part # 11755. This keeps dirt and moisture out of the electrical connections and helps prevent corrosion.
