Winch for Boat Trailer Application to Pull 6200-lb Boat
Question:
My boat weighs in at approximately 6200 lbs 2800klg. The trailer has only Teflon slips, no rollers. If I were to use the super winch S5000 with pulley double up on the line, do recommend this winch to do this job. Cheers

A winch's capacity will increase when used with a pulley set-up such as what you are describing. Also, if you were to add roller bunks to your trailer, such as Dutton-Lainson Boat Trailer Deluxe Roller Bunk # DL21741, you would further increase your winch's effective capacity by reducing drag. The linked article includes lots of information on winch ratings and capacities.
