How to Install a Curt Venturer Brake Controller in a 2013 Chevy Silverado
Question:
I purchased a Curt Venturer brake controller last year from you for a 2003 Yukon. I now have a 2013 Silverado, will the controller still work on this vehicle. I think I will need to cut off the plug that worked on the Yukon and hard connect it to the Silverado? Thanks in advance for your help.

The Curt Venturer Trailer Brake Controller # C74VV that you referenced can be installed in your 2013 Chevy Silverado.
You are correct in that in order to install it in your truck you will need to remove the connector and hardwire the controller to the wires present under your dash. I attached an FAQ article and video to the right that details exactly how this will be done.
