How to Connect a Hayes Engage Trailer Brake Controller # HA81760 in a 2008 Toyota Tundra

Thanks for quick answer but my Hayes does not have a plug in port, it has 4 wires coming out of it. White - black - red - blue and harness that was taped in truck has a red-black,red -brown-green-green,white for a total of 5

To install the Hayes Engage Trailer Brake Controller # HA81760 on your 2008 Toyota Tundra with a factory 7-way you wouldn't need to do any hardwiring. All you would need to do is plug in the # HA81785-HBC harness to your factory brake controller install port.
The harness is located underneath the dash, to the left of the steering column, taped to another harness near the emergency brake pedal.
The green wires that you have found on the brake controller port would not be needed to install a brake controller so you wouldn't need to worry about them.
