Recommendation of a Replacement Tire Wheel Combo for a Loadrite Boat Trailer

Looking for a replacement tire/wheel combo for a Loadrite 1720005 boat trailer. Recommended tire is the E78-14B on the data plate. Currently has F78-14ST installed. Can you recommend the proper combo?

Thanks for providing the information from the data plate on the side of your trailer.
The modern-day equivalent of E78-14B and F78-14ST is now a 205/75-14. There are C and/or D load range tires.

The most popular C load range tire (1,760 lbs. at 50 psi) is the Castle Rock ST205/75R14 Radial Tire w/ 14" Condor Aluminum Wheel # LH84VR. This aluminum wheel that is rustproof. This is based on a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern.

If you prefer a load range D I recommend the Kenda Karrier # AM10235 (2,040 lbs. at 65 psi). This is the tire only. You would need to pair it with a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern wheel.

Please note the overall capacity of this tire-and-wheel assembly is limited to the lowest rated component.
