Will a Trailer Hitch Fit a 2014 Scion FR-S with TRD Exhaust
Question:
Which is the lightest hitch I can install with my TRD exhaust system. It is not the standard exhaust design and I dont want to order and find out it doesnt fit. Will I have to remove the exhaustto install it?

Curt trailer hitch # C11379 has a shipping weight of 33 pounds, the heaviest of the hitches for your 2014 Scion FR-S.
The hitches are designed to fit models that have the stock exhaust. They have not been tested on alternate exhaust systems. It is likely the pipes are wider and/or there are different mufflers on the TRD exhaust so that could cause fit issues with the hitch. The stock exhaust would have to be temporarily lowered for hitch installation.
If by chance you are wanting a hitch to carry bikes then there is another option that does not require installation of a hitch. You could use a trunk mount bike rack. I have included a link to the trunk mount racks we have for the 2014 Scion FR-S.
