Do you mean that your truck has the factory brake controller?
If so, you'll need to access the wiring behind the 7-way trailer connector. Find the dark blue wire exiting the rear of the connector, and cut the wire about 6 inches forward of the 7-way. Bundle up the end of he wire that leads toward the front of the truck and tuck it out of the way. Attach a length of 10 gauge wire like 10-1-1 to the blue wire still attached to the 7-way, and run the wire under the vehicle to the engine compartment and into the passenger cabin under the dash on the drivers side. Be sure to avoid anything hot like exhaust components or anything moving like the suspension or steering. Connect the end of the wire to the Blue wire exiting the back of your Prodigy 2 Brake Controller. Doing this will bypass your factory brake controller. I'll link you to a tech bulletin we received from Tekonsha that fully explains the procedure.
