Best Option for Hauling Cargo with 2014 Toyota 4 Runner
Question:
What is the weight of this product. I have a 2014 Runner and am seriously worried about the 135 lb weight limit on the crossbars. If this weighs more than 35 lbs, it limits my cargo carrying ability. Suggestions?

According to the information that I obtained from Rhino-Rack, the Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket, # RMCB02, weighs 46.3 pounds.
Assuming that your 2014 Toyota 4Runner came factory equipped with a 2 inch hitch receiver, I personally recommend going with a cargo carrier like the 24x60 Curt Folding Carrier, # C18151, to increase your carrying capacity to nearly 500 pounds. I find that a hitch mounted carrier is much easier to use and I don't have to be as concerned with the amount of cargo that is loaded onto it.
The folding design of this carrier allows it to be tilted up alongside the rear of the car when it's not in use. To ensure that there is sufficient clearance on your 4Runner to utilize this folding feature, you will want to measure from the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost edge of the bumper. This rack requires that your vehicle's measurement be less than 9 inches.
I have attached a couple of articles and a video for you to check out.
