Availability of Trailer Wiring Harness for 2012 Mercedes-Benz M-Class

Im looking for a solution other than paying Mercedes $1000 to hook up lights for my boat trailer Will your module work without damaging the computer and causing me to pay $700 for a reset?

We do offer a hardwired solution for installing a 4 pole trailer wiring harness on your 2012 Mercedes-Benz M-Class.
I'd recommend the powered taillight converter, part # C59496.
