Keyed Alike Stainless Steel Hitch Lock for a 1994 Chevrolet Pickup 1500 with 2 Inch Receiver Hitch
Question:
I am looking for two locks for my boat trailer/truck connection. One for the trailer tounge and one to the hitch/truck connection. I would like for the locks to be keyed alike and stainless steel. The truck is a 1994 Chevy, Silverado 1/2 ton 1500 series. What would you recommend? Ive measured the hitch on the truck and it appears to be 2 1/2 inches, the connector that fits inside the attached truck receiver is 2 inches and the pin measures 5/8 thickness. Thanks.

I recommend the Master Lock Stainless Steel Hitch Receiver and Coupler Latch Lock Set, # 1481DAT, for your vehicle and trailer applications. It is one of the most secure locks we carry. It has a 5/8 inch diameter, 2-1/2 inch span to fit the 2-1/2 inch overall hitch width.
The # e98881 lock is for 2-1/2 inch hitches (inside width of receiver) and the recommended lock, # 1481DAT is for 2 inch (inside receiver width) hitches.
