im looking to get a electric tongue jack for my new 2014 Dutchmen travel trailer I see theres different sizes 2 in and etc and how many pounds do I need ? its a 275bh 28 foot

In the literature for your new 2014 Dutchmen travel trailer there should be a tongue weight listed. This is the figure you will need to consider when choosing an electric tongue jack. It will increase though when the trailer is loaded so you will need to consider that as well.

I looked up your trailer and it looks like the tongue weight is 280 pounds though it isn't clear if that is the dry or loaded tongue weight (likely dry). It also looks like there is limited space between the jack and the propane tanks.

The Stromberg-Carlson jack # JET-2500 has a capacity of 2,500 pounds and measures just under 3-1/2 inches from the center of the jack tube to the back of the jack head. A 2 inch diameter tube is pretty much standard. You could measure the diameter of the jack tube you have now to confirm that this powered jack will fit.
