Fifth Wheel King Pin Location When Installing a Fifth Wheel Rail Kit in a 1995 Ford F350

Just purchase a Reese 15K fifth wheel. I have a 1995 ford F-350 crew cab long bed pick up. How far ahead of the rear axle should I mount the fifth wheel.

The correct rail kit to install your Reese 15k Fifth Wheel trailer hitch would be the Reese Rail Kit part # RP30035. When you install this rail kit the king pin of your trailer will sit 4 inches in front of the center of your rear axle.

The rear rail will be 32-1/2 inches from the rear edge of the truck bed.
