Installing Brake Controller Adapter On 2003 Ford F-150 Pickup Truck
Question:
Received a caution with my Tekonsha P3 stating device could short out if my truck 98-05 f150 is wired wrong. Says when making the stoplight wire connection, connect to the light green wire.....if I just use my supplied 3035 P will I be OK? Their concern is about a red wire with green stripe....

The installation of the P3 brake controller, part # 90195, should be a simple job with the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter, part # 3035-P on your 2003 Ford F-150 truck.
With the brake controller harness under the dash on your F-150, the adapter makes the installation very simple and allows you to be able to remove your brake controller any time you want.
