2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid Hitch and 2 Bike Rack Recommendation
Question:
I am looking for a hitch that does not require the removal of the rear plastic of the bottom of the bumper. Does such a hitch exist? If none exists, I would still consider using a hitch. Also, Is there a hitch that does not require a support strap when using a bike rack? How about Draw-Tite part # 24897. And Swagman XTC-2 part # S64670. This question references instructions about trimming the panel. Is that the closest I can get to not removing the plastic?: https://www.etrailer.com/question-66915.html Sorry for all of the questions. Thank you!

Your best solution would be the Draw-Tite part #24897 that you also referenced. This hitch will only require trimming of the rear panel and would not require you to use a stabilizer strap like the Curt hitch part # C12091 would.
This hitch would work great with the Swagman XTC2 bike rack part # S64670. I attached a review video for this rack for you to check out.
